My glorious 24" crt monitor just died, i cant believe it, we had such good times together *sniff*
Now i will venture into the lcd world, where i must overcome such obstacles as input lag, resolution compatibility, poor black levels and so forth...
Anyone recommend any 24" lcd's that don't have...
Other then using zip ties, does anyone have any idea's/solutions on how to mount a cpu heatsink on an ati/nvidia card?
The Alpine64 seems to be a pretty good heatsink and it only costs a mere 15 bucks, compared to almost 3 times that for the latest and greatest from zalman/thermalright...
I have a compaq sff pc and the psu seems to be dead, now the problem is that the psu has a wierd 14pin atx connector. It looks like a regular atx connector but missing 6 pins.

How's thats possible, this is a...

Ok so heres a crappy picture of what im gonna try to do, just wanna see if anyone thinks its a good idea or not.
Basically the red line is a piece of plastic/acrylic blocking/seperating the cpu area and the bottom of the mobo. Above the cpu is the psu and below is the video card, so...
