This version caused a black screen every 15-20 seconds in Fortnite while Freesync was on. Turned Freesync off and it goes away. Didn't happen with the old version. It did solve a stability issue I was having with the game though. Overall it's better I guess.
Cost: $279
Usage/Details: This card has been lightly used in a family computer with a high quality power supply and has been working flawlessly for us. My son's games worked well on it when he played. Selling, because we're moving to a laptop. We had a freesync monitor paired with it and...
No way Intel would have ever offered these without AMD releasing Ryzen. I seriously doubt any of these will be affordable. They really should take a different approach, modernize their whole stack. Nobody should have to be buying a dual core anymore.
i3 --> 4 cores, 8 threads
i5 --> 6...
I think Zen will be competitive in the mainstream $200 to $400 price point. An 8 core, 16 thread CPU that performs within 25% of single threaded top end i7 would be popular. There are a lot of AMD fans waiting for an upgrade and wanting it to be close to Intel's offerings.
If you buy PC parts based on slogan and not after reading reviews and making sure you're getting the most value for your dollar you are either rich or don't really care about performance.
I picked up the Dungeon Defenders 4 pack for my friends and I. I played for a couple hours and it's a lot of fun. The art is a lot like torchlight. I love defense games, it's going to be a lot of fun with the teamwork aspect. The character building aspect is pretty good, enough to get you...
So, you're saying they're coming out with two phones with the same technical specs; a small screen enlargement and form factor change on one? Why would anyone buy the i5 unless it had better internals than the i4.5?
I have that card in the computer I'm posting with. It is pretty descent, it will run all of today's games still at medium settings. It's a steal for < $30.
love antec quality, precision craftsmanship, and the little things they add to products that prove their engineers are PC geeks also and build what they love.
Amazon has been OOS for a while now. They are selling it via 3rd party sellers who are charging premiums. Amazon says they'll ship your board in 2-4 weeks if you order from them.
I understand that. I had an original one that got recalled. It is odd that they were able to keep up with demand on initial release, but now aren't able to. Maybe it's all the old customers getting replacements plus the brand new customers. However, if it were my business I would have ramped...
I am finding it odd that there is such a shortage of P67 parts. At initial release there was no problem getting them. Now they're few and far between. Online retailers are marking them up 10-20% at the respectable places and 200-300% at the less respectable places. Anyone have opinions...
The Intel MB forum seems flooded with Asus MB issues threads. I am a little perplexed why I don't see many MSI, ASROCK, Gigabyte threads. It could the that ASUS boards are so popular that the few people with issues completely outnumber the few people who bought other brands. It could also be...
I had no luck on their online chat. They've clearly caught on and have plenty of prepared statements. What did you guys say in your email that caused them to honor the original prices?
After two calls they issued me a $61 credit that I can use when they come back in stock! Woo Hoo.
ordered a Sabertooth. I RMA'd my P8P67 a day before the recall, so if this goes through it will be a nice upgrade for the price I paid for the original P8P67. If I do get it, I'm going to have to cut a window into my case and add lights to display this sexy MB.
I have been watching this laptop for a while. It would be a perfect gift for my wife. I got home from work too late last night and the code was deactivated. Their sales support people wouldn't buy my sob story :(
I had a P8P67 board, I RMA'd it as well as the 2500k. The mainboard died 2 days before the recall...
Have we heard anymore information about when the Z67 chipset boards will be out? I'd like to get one of them instead of the P67 so that I can use the IGP for troubleshooting or when I...
