This game is really fun and well-polished. The only bug I have seen after about 10 hours of play is that my inventory shows I have a new item but it doesn't. I am guessing this will get fixed in the first post-launch patch as other users on reddit have reported the same issue. There is a...
Glad my LG OLED has G-sync compatability/VRR to handle the dips into low 50s in heavy areas without really noticing it. I would have to lower settings otherwise to avoid the game from feeling sluggish.
With that said, I feel like this is how the game should have launced, with the 1.5...
Performance improved some after the last patch for me, I get 59 fps at 4K on my overclocked 3090 in the performance benchmark. This is with all the advanced graphical settings maxed out using DLSS performance. I turn off Film Grain, Chromatic Abberation, Depth Of Field, Lens Flare, and Motion...
I'm glad that I am not the only one noticing that the game is overly sharp in resolution mode. Luckily I prefer the crispness of the performance mode and the IQ differences between the mode aren't that noticeable while playing for me. Sure would be nice if Sony would implement VRR already....
The FTW3 is about the same size as my current 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra, so I guess I am ok. Did not see if it needs 3 8-pin connectors or just two, but might be better with the extra plug regardless.
I am looking forward to playing this again on PS5, so I am hoping they add some enhancements for it. I would be happy with 1440@60 and take advantage of VRR. I don't think the PS5 will have enough power to run at true 4K/60.
I beat the original game on Epic game store and can get the season pass for under $10 with the coupon. Is there anything I am missing out on by not getting the Ultimate version on Steam?
I could see 2 years from PS5 release for EGS, and another year for other platforms. They are partners of sorts now, so don't see PC releases coming to all platforms at once if they chose to release to PC at all.
I wouldn't mind another God of War or Uncharted playthru on PC, even after a few...
After seeing a lot of videos this weekend, I am hoping I can get a 3080 Ti, or whatever name is the equivalent, before playing this game. I also haven't pre-ordered, so hoping to get the game bundled with the card.
DLSS2.0 will help a lot for running this game. I still want to get a new GPU with HDMI 2.1 before this comes out, but I think it will be playable at 4K with my 2080 Ti.
I expect that one of the last major updates for this game will be to raise level cap to 60 and add pearlescent weapons - then it's back to farming for me!
I already pre-ordered the Ultimate edition and I did the same with Odyssey and was not disappointed. I can't wait to see the gameplay trailer next week!
