Why do you want to go from small to a beast? I'm in the same position, as I'm using a Shuttle and now going to build with a Lian-Li PC-A05B. Small case, but fits a full ATX and larger video cards.

Instead of 2 threads asking basically the same questions, wouldn't it help you more to ask.... "Who has a 9800GX2 and what motherboard to do you run it on?". That might spare you the commentary and get you facts that would help make a purchasing decision. Just a thought I had reading...

From what he described, it sounds like the nuts from the knobs keep the base attached to the faceplate.

I think you should get the A05B. It has the issue you mentioned, but there are a few ways to tackle it. I just bought one a couple weeks ago and plan to cut a blowhole to alleviate the heat. This will reduce noise compared to a slot (leaf) blower. :p This thread has a ton of reasons why...

Now that you know what it is.... do you have plans for the case? :confused:

If it's a dual fan setup, would it be wise to have the frontward fan as intake and the second fan as exhaust? I know some air would recirculate. I got my case last week and plan to order my modding parts tonight. There are a lot of great ideas in this thread.

I got the opposite impression from this thread. Hot air does rise, but how will having dual 120's pushing air out of the case work against the GPU fan trying to suck air in? Also, what does everyone recommend for anti-vibration matting? I'm thinking about putting a Gigabyte...

I think I got to page 40, before I decided to order the PC-A05B. There are a lot of nice setups in this thread, so I'm sure I can leach some ideas to keep it cool and clean. I like the double blowhole, using a rad grill to push fresh air to the dead zone over the video card. I'll post pics...
