Swiftech MCX6400-V Cpu cooler. Fits AMD socket 754, 939, & 940. Used for a couple of years. There was a common problem that I read about pins breaking off while moving it. I did have it off for a while and one pin did break off. I don't really think it would change the effectiveness of its...
I ordered one from them while it was $255 as well. I got my shipping and it said it will be here wednesday. Although I only just ordered my x1900xt today and haven't even ordered ram and mobo yet.
Its the Futura "L" from office max only I am using half of it. :)

Where did you buy it from? If you can take it back, I would. I have the same monitor without any stuck pixels. Most people I see on here don't have any. I would try to get a new one if you can, your chances to get one with out any bad pixels is good.
I can't get ASIO or Kernel to work with my foobar. Asio just says ERROR (foo_output_asio(dll)) : unsupported output data format.
KS just says ERROR (foo_out_ks) : KS output error: error opening device.
Yeah I've also got to add to the Gateway tally. I have one and love it. I don't have any buzzing either and the only blacklight bleed does not bother me at all.
Yeah I called a store in Topeka, Lawrence, and two in Wichita, kansas. I have a friend that is going to call some in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but I am not going to hold my breath.
It's not bad. The pads don't go completely over your ears, just rest on them. However, they are pretty comfortable and I can wear them for longer periods of time. I heard that the PC160's ear pads are actually larger, and may be more comfortable. I am not sure though.
I would get the X-Fi out of those two, but I haven't bought any creative products for a long time. I have had good luck with my M-Audio 5.1 Revolution. :)
A DVI-I cable will not work for the monitor. Look at the connector on the bottom of the display. It doesn't have the four pins around the long pin on it. It will take a dual link DVI-D, but not I.
Yeah man, from what i've heard you can easily take it back. I would DEF take it back, dead pixels suck.
I got a fpd2185w for christmas, and if it had any dead pixels I would take it back to bestbuy.
Just a female plug for DVI? if that is what is on both of your componets all you would need is a twin male dvi cable.
edit oh i get what you mean...that is just a DVI-D, not DVI-I
I don't get any beep codes or anything. I have reseated the hsf many times so I'm thinking as well the mobo is dead. I just hope it didn't take the cpu with it.
Alright so my computer won't work. I don't know if it is the cpu or mobo or what. For a while when I turned it on it would run for 10 seconds maybe and then shut down. After I took the mobo out and put it back in it now will run and stay running but I can't get any post. I have reset bios...
