For those not in the know, O&A invited a bum up into the studio (they do this fairly frequently) and the bum decided to say that he would forcefully engage intercourse with Condi Rice, Laura Bush and Queen Elizabeth. Anthony then did impesinations of a woman being violated. They apologized for...
I think this is Karma because of Opie and Anthony's "suspension". If XM advertises no holds barred limitless free speech and Suspends O&A, meanwhile letting other stations say unlimited racial slurs against whites, then they are outright liars and deserve to lose even more subscriptions.
The same thing was said about Beta-Max. All the support in the world won't help if no one buys your product. Personally, I think that both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray will go the way of the dodo for movies. But if I had to pick an HiDef movie format FTW, I'd pick HD-DVD. But in terms of use as a storage...
Found a 20 gig at Circuit City. Then went to Target and picked up Resistance: Fall of Man. Personally I find the "buttons" on the system gimmicky. It uses the same tech as those toy chicks that chirp. You know two pieces of metal, you put your finger on them to complete the circuit and boom...
The PSP does the online stuff, half-assed, but it does it. Then again it also does MP3s...half-assed. And movies...also half-assed. Oh, don't forget games....also, well you get it.
I had the same issue! I got the EVGA NF41 board free with a 7800 GT (which was quickly stepped up to a 7900 GT). With it I got an Opteron 175 with hopes that the higher multiplyer would give me more head room for OCing. Instead I found it freaking difficult to OC it. The Highest I could get to...
I got my Opteron 165 up to 2.7 ghz, and have a Geforce 7900 GT. But personally the Radeon X1900XT 256mb for between $250-$280. Nice card. If I could have waited, I would of gotten the Radeon. In your shoes, I would wait to see if nVidia puts out an 8600 GT or 8800 GS, I heard that they are...
Since only one of the cards memory is used, could you flash the GS to a GT. Then use the Real GT as the main card and have the Fake GT (previously a GS) as the secondary. That would negate using the slower DDR2 Ram, and instead use the fast GDDR3 from the GT. I know that GS chips are good for...
Knowing what I know now, I'd save a bit more and just get the X1900XT or settle for the X1900GT. My 7900GT has crapped out twice and I think its doing it again. (after exiting a game my system hangs on a black screen with my mouse cursor, I could move the cursor but windows desktop never...
I have an Opteron 175 that stubornly does 2.4 ghz. I was hoping to get it up to at least 2.6 when I got it, but the first core keeps craping out in SP2004 after 5 minutes. It is solid at 2.4 ghz, but disheartening cuz I spent $550 on the processor, when I coulda gotten a 165 or 3800+ for less...
I really think this is the best AGP card out.

I have the PCI-e version and OC'd it gave my 6800gt a run for it's money.
Clean out your history, and clear out your cookies, and clean out the cache in firefox. That did it for me. Oh, and pick up a new video card, like an XFX 7600 GS or somthing.
I'm growing tired of my current position at my job. I know that I could pass the certification tests needed (A+, Network+, etc) but I looked like crazy on Google and couldn't find anything. Anyone here can help me find out how I could take the test without taking a pointless class?
I got a 7600GS for my HTPC, runs Quake 4 at 1280x1024 like butter, almost as well as my 7900GT. If it could run Quake 4 well, it should do WoW perfectly.
I hear where your coming from. I recently had to replace my motherboard in my HTPC, so I got an nForce4 and with it an XFX Geforce 7600 GS-Extreme Edition (500core/900memory) and I fired up a bunch of games (CoD2 and Quake 4) Ran like butter at 1280x1024. Just like my Evga 7900 GT CO. Very VERY...
I went from a 6800GT to a 7800GT and saw a signifigant difference. I thought it was a good jump for me. Consider that the X800Pro is slower then the 6800GT and the 7900GT is faster then the 7800GT, I think your jump will be quite noticible.
I had the exact same friggen problem. For a while I changed the affinity. I then stumbled accross NGO Nvidia Optimized Drivers (do a google search) they are moddified nVidia drivers. I was so annoyed with the jitteryness and I was tired of having to dump out to change affinity so I tried them...
That is my Idle temp, highest Ive seen it has been 44C while running Sims 2, Prime and Burning a CD. I agree it may be a little off, but Its gotta be better then the one on the craptastic EVGA board which according to reviews is completely off. I have the sensor right up against the CPU so it...
I used a Kingwin Water cooling system, it doesnt take up a HDD bay but it eats two 5.25" bays. Works very well keeps my Opteron 175 at 37.3 c (I just checked it with the included LCD temp monitor) Not bad for a little over $100.
Ok, I have most of the parts, all I need now is The CPU and Hardrive
CPU - AMD Opteron 175
MoBo - Evga Nforce4 SLI (this part is making me worried)
Ram - 2 GB G.Skill PC3200
VidCard - Evga Geforce 7800GT
Case - Raidmax X1 (Shockingly Beautiful Case)
PSU - Sunbeamtech Nuuno 550 Watt SLI...
I love my Sempron 2600+. I OC'ed it to 2Ghz (Biostar MoBo's FSB wont go over 250mhz) and it runs really cool. Coupled it with a Radeon X700 with GDDR2 which overclocked to Pro speeds. Made a very good media PC.
I have the same issue, I think thats the issue with the old 754 (newcastles). They havent made newcastles faster then 2.4 ghz, I got mine to 2.6(stable) and 2.7 (a tad bumpy) but decided to keep it at 2.4 as I really didnt need the OC.
Ok, this happened to me before and usually I just roll back Windows XP to fix the problem, but a while ago a friend showed me how to do it through DOS. Basically all my other systems can go on the internet buy one is "denied" I believe it has somthing to do with Window's internet settings but...
My main system's 3400+ is running at 2.6 Ghz (200 mhz OC) and is plenty fast. Unfortunatly with the 7800 GTX only on PCI-Express 16x as you all know. I've been concidering getting a San Diego 3700+ with a PCI-Exp. mobo and OC'ing it to 2.4 ghz basically equaling an FX-53/4000+ and getting a 7800...
And heck if you like that Alienware case (I do) you got a couple options.

Wow Let me go through my history with socket A (462)
Duron 800 @ 950mhz with stock voltage (didn't know about upping voltage back then)
Athlon 900 @ 1000mhz again with stock voltage
Athlon 1300 - Ran that stock.
Athlon XP 2000+ - Ran that stock on the classic Ks7a
Athlon XP 2500+@3200+ -...
You got good stuff there. I got my 3400+ up to 2.7 ghz on the stock voltage and ran some tests on it. Ran in line with an FX-55. Only Issue is that right now I'm using the Stock HSF and after about an hour on intense tests (3Dmark 2003, 2005, PCmark04, Sandra Tests, Prime, UT2k4, Doom 3) it blue...

3200 = Socket 754, Single Channel, 512kb cache
3700= Socket 939, Dual Channel, 1MB cache
Personally I'd got 3700+ as 754 has hit its end and the 3700+ should be able to hit at least 2.4 ghz oc, making it an Athlon 64 4000+ equivilant, I think its a good deal. If you wanna go with a cheap...
I've seen 6600's and X700's (non GT and Pro) for under a hundred.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814135166 (ok $5 more)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121540#DetailSpecs ($94)
Both are much better then a 6200, and for just a little...
