It could also be your internet connection. That computer should be plenty to run that game. My Dell laptop in the sig can play it just fine.

Some classic games you mentioned there:) I keep the boxes in a cabinet and have all the games on my desk in several CD trays. Afterall, it comforts me to see Diablo everytime I look over my shoulder.

I think they are pretty low end as gaming is concerned (better than integrated, though), however, they are mostly suited towards engineering programs such as CAD.

Agreed, 512 PC3200s are pretty cheap now. Make sure you get a relatively quality brand though to elimate the chance it might be DOA.
