If you are using the battery pack, you might try pulling it out and letting it sit for a few min. When you reinstall the batteries it may recalibrate.

I picked a used 360 copy of the collectors edition a few months ago at gamestop for $10. Worth every penny. It's also a great game for giving your gamer score a boost.

I suppose that is somewhat misleading as I do in fact mean a the "thumb ball." Although by definition that is still a trackball.
From Wikipedia:
Agreed.

I will agree that 9 was very fun. It may have recaptured some of the fun, but all that was lost with 10. At least in 10 some of the characters were interesting. No characters will ever be as great as Vincent.

I loved Tales of Symphonia...
But if I remember, Skies of Arcadia was bad about this. As well as Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger.
The whole FF franchise has taken a steep drop after 7, which I am now replaying. The battle systems are getting worse, the stories less gripping, and the...
About three or four years ago I posted asking users how they felt about gaming with a trackball. Over the years I have converted a few of my friends to trackballs but I wanted to know if the general opinion towards them has changed. Most people at the time found them to be cumbersome, but a...

I will be replacing my MB soon, so I thought I would like a quieter system. I would like to know if the Zalman 7000 cooler will fit on my p4 with the IHS removed. I thought I might find something by searching the forums, but no luck. Thanks

Guy calls his kid into the office.
"Son, our server does not work, what do you think it is."
"Let me look..." clears dust, "Looks like a bad mother board, dad."
"Mother board? That sounds expensive."
"Umm... Yeah, but I could probably get the part of E-Bay and replace it for a...
I was thinking about replacing my IC7 (chipset loop popped out, I think there may be permanent damage) with an Albatron PX865PE PRO II. What do you think. I really like that it has the Envy24 audio onbourd. Or maybe a DFI LanParty.

This is the deal that pushed my over. My 4200 was starting to give me issues, so I was planning on ordering a 9800 pro. When I found out about this 6800nu for $300 with D3 I jumped on it. I love it... it's a great card. Plus, I will not feel too bad in a year or so when I need to replace it...
Regarding the modular Video Card.
I seem to remember a project a while back. That used a second PC with a direct ethernet link (2 nics were needed [4 in all, 2 on host - 2 on guest] for decent throughput). The host, running linux, used software rendering. The guest, a windows machine, used...
I'm using Omega's 45.23. I'm very pleased with these drivers on my 4200. More so than any of the stock drivers. Problem is, they are a PITA to find a good fast link for.

If you can get that FSB up you should notice a significat increase. You may not need to worry about your ram (Depending on how old it is.) I had some very ccrappy PC2100 that would run 180 @ 2-2-2-5. If your ram is recent, you may have luck with it. I used to run a Duron 1.2 (Default 100FSB)...
Either way, I think you will be happy. As I have been saying, in general the 5900 is better than the 9600s. The 97/9800 are better than the 5900. I think I said it before, the 5900 should be looked at as an alternative the 9600, the 97/9800 will always be better than the 5900.

Although the 5900 will not stand up to the 9700 & 9800 in HL2 (or DX9 in general), you have to remember that HL2 is a ways off yet. There is plenty of time for the engine to be tweaked. It's hard to say what the final numbers will look like.

There are plenty of aftermarket ram sinks, but alot of people feel that they are a waste of money. Unless you have a good bit of air directly on them, the are really only there for eye candy. They may even act as insulators. I belive SVC.com has a good selection.

9 times out of 10 an aftermarket cooling solution will be better than anything that is on a stock card. Personally, I think the Tyan has better cooling. If your concern is overclocking, I would try to find the card with the fastest ram, that may take some research.

I would have to agree, the 9700 will be better in most things. However, a 5900nu can be picked up for $170 which makes it very hard to pass over. I would say the deciding factor should be how long you plan on keeping the card. As a short term card (a year or less), I would go with the 5900...
The card is OK for now, but when Doom3 and HL2 come around, it will be brought to its knees. Games like Halo would already make you consider a newer card. If you can wait, a new generation of cards will (should) be out before either of these games.

For the money, and I have been pimping this thing all day, I would go for the 5900nu. You will get better DX9 performance than the 9600s, and DX8 performance on par with the 9800s. As an alternative to the 9600 the 5900nu is the better option (my opinion of course.) Of course, the when...
I don't think you will be dissapointed, but I would read through the threads here about trying the bios flash trick. It seems there is a significant risk that you might have a card that is fubar after that. Good luck.
For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the option, but there is a bios onption that clears plug-and-play settings upon restart, you might try that. As an alternative you could try to clear your Bios. Another option might be to pull you 9800 and install a PCI Card, boot-up then...
I'm starting to feel like a broken record today. :)
Anyways, this is only my opinion but;
If you can stretch about $170 the BFG FX5900nu has probably got the best price/performance ratio right now. But that is a bit of a stretch from $120. Otherwise, I would look at the 9600 series. As...
The biggest reason to buy the 5900 is the price/performance ratio. If a 9700 is def in your budget, even if you get a crappy overclocker, should be the better option. The 9700 will most likely age better than the 5900, but that may not be an issue. If you see yourself upgrading again soon, I...
Even though I don't keep a FDD hooked up, I do have one near by just in case. For most situations I use bootable CDs or a USB thumbdrive. I have only needed to pull out my floppy once. I had a bad flash on my 8k3a+ and the BIOS will only try to recover off of a floppy.

Even though I loved my 9800, I would have to say that the best bang for the buck right now, including oc potential, would be the BFG FX5900nu, $170. This is the card I think I will be buying soon. From what I understand the DX9 performance should fall somewhere between the 9600s and 9800s...
Yeah, I don't know if I can get up enough cash for the 9700. If I could get that I think I saw a 9800 pro for about 230. Sadly, I think it will be hard enough to get the 170 for the 5900. I've just recently quit my job to go back to school, so money is gonna be tight. I'm might see if I...
I'm leaning towards a 9600(xt) which can be had for about $150, or the BFG 5900 that I've seen for under $170. There will be overclocking involved so stock performance is not a real performance gauge. I know the 5900 will usuallly clock as high as a 5950 but I also know that the DX9 perf is...
I'm glad I'm not the one who has had a bad pot. (Hmm... anyways.) It did finally get me to mounting a HS on my 4200. Now she sits pretty with a stock p4 HS and 80mm fan (and the core will only hit 315).
