Great article!
It would be more relevant to me if it included information about using ATI HD5850 for video and Nvidia 9600GT for physx (via hack).
I'm loving my setup like this under Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on a 4ghz Q9550 for unreal engine games. I'm considering moving from my Dell...
I think he's got all the monitors sold. I offered him my 3007WFP-HC (drool monitor upgrade from 3007wfp, sells for $1700 at dell as an addon to XPS rigs) for a trade of his 2405+cash or even 2x2405+cash or even 3x2405.. and the last I heard he didn't have the cash to make the deal.. and...
I have one, I'll see if I can find it in my box. I'm pretty sure I have the kit/instructions/whole deal. What's it worth to you? Shipping is tough on cheap components these days. I think it'll go in a flat rate envelope with some bubble wrap around the box.
Shoot me a PM if interested.
I have one, see my thread at Anandtech. It's pretty much an uber-complete rig:

The only two things it needs are:
1) Software, I'm using a beta version of VISTA ULTIMATE (and will give you a beta copy of Vista Home I...
I have a Dell 3007WFP-HC, the new model that you can't buy separately (must come with XPS system as a $1700 upgrade). I need to size back down to a 2405/2407, as my rig just can't game at 2560x1600 and I spend too much time gaming and don't have any cash left to buy a video card.
I'd let...
Am I one of the 'speakers'? I sure hope so, I'm ready to deal. :)
I wish you had email, we were talking last night and the board went down so I went to bed.
Any interest in trading a couple of them for a PCP&C 510 Deluxe power supply? (650W Peak PSU). Read about it at www.pcpower.com, it's one of the best ATX power supplies ever manufactured and still covered under 5yr warranty.
Check my thread at AT for a combo that might be faster than what you're looking:

It's an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe mobo (i865PE, agp, 4xddr), Intel 730 cpu (dothan, 2mb cache, 1.6ghz/533), Asus CT479 adapter (puts dothan on...
Yes, if you plan to run 8800 series in SLI, otherwise no. It's a beastly PSU, though. The 510SLI is enough for anything (except perhaps 8800gtx sli, and that's arguable).
FYI: At low power loads, it is quieter than the 510 series, but at high power draw, the fan speeds up to 40dB (whereas...
Nice.. I used to phase.. but it was too much hassle for me (I swap hardware way too frequently for the trouble of installing/removing vapo.. at least the original system, this new one is probably way better).
That system really *is* a beast. :)
I think he means to say it's a PCI-e card, not PCI. I don't think they actually made anything above a 52xx series card for PCI (some were named 53xx/54xx/55xx, but were just souped up 52xx).
If it happens to be a 6600GT that actually fits a PCI slot (not PCI-e), then I definitely want it...
FYI, scot.. it's pretty common practice for unestablished traders to ship first to high heat members. Not that I consider 50 heat high.. but it's a damn fine start.
Good luck with your sale!
Nice chip. I thought I would miss mine when I moved to conroe.. but I don't. However, for someone looking for an inexpensive way to get some good dual core action, this is it!
A lot of my advice may be incorrect depending on what motherboard and sata card you are using. Here's what I would do, and the order I would do it:
1) Shutdown. Disconnect all hdd's.
2) Only connect raptor to sata controller (I'm assuming you have a PCI sata card in the computer.. if it's...
This fits a lot of cards that have the VGA breakout on a full profile card:

I have a 64mb MX440 agp low profile card (with bracket), dvi and svid, I could do for $25 shipped USPS Priority w/DC. It's like this...
FYI, the sticker on dell/hp/similar oem boxesis perfectly useless by itself. The actual key used to install xp/mce is on the disc that came with the system. Without the disc, you have a pretty and useless sticker.
I stand corrected, after I posted this I got curious and started looking. It's a schweet phone, good luck in your search. I think I'm going to start looking for one, too. Amazing battery life and bluetooth support = very good phone.
I think the razr is gsm only and I think verizon is cdma. If you find something different, shoot me a line as I'm a verizon user and would love to have a cool razr style phone.
The best I've found for cmda is nokia canydbar phones (service and features).
