I have lil ones... they see these games in the toy aisle. I wanna introduce them to games, but not refer to a 15 min youtube video for everything that comes up, lol
I agree.
I basically rely on word of mouth at this point prior to a movie unless Im dead set on seeing it.
I was pretty excited to see the newest FF9 or whatever until people saw it and said....ok its a bit TOO outlandish at this point. So I skipped it.
I feel like hybrid viewing creates a...
while I totally agree with your statement, on the other end of that is maybe studios shouldn't be banking on every MCU film to make 5-600 million dollars or compare it with the billion dollar ones.
So I asked the IT guys about the reduction in battery life
they said we keep them 24-30 months and then sell them to some company that we have a contract with (who prob "refurbs" them and tosses on ebay)
either way they said...it wouldnt matter in the time we have them.
Im not sure. I can ask IT in an hour when I get to work.
Ill run the battery to completely dead today (or tomorrow) and time how long it takes to fully recharge. On a normal day Ill run the battery down say to 35-45% and plug it in during lunch. Come back around an hour later and she's fully...
seriously Ive been looking at building a roblox rig for my kids.
its not like 5 years ago where building = better / saving bucks.
Nothing to save anymore really :yuck:
Does anyone else immediately get turned off when you have to watch a ~10 min video to figure out how to play a board game?
I tried playing back to the future game with my son (until we had to watch a ~17 min video on youtube ) on how. Lol.
I did a little reading and found out...it is hurting studios. Apparently because everyone sees it on week one, and then it sharply declines vs in the theaters its a slower roll out where people still watch it on week 2.
"The release of Black Widow earlier this month was one of the biggest...
Honestly I had no idea other countries were getting such a better deal. Makes sense however, much like buying yearly subs to services like xbox live and things through brazil. (for anyone that doesn't know, here in the us its $15 a month. they have work arounds that you can buy a yearly sub in...
^ i think we're agreeing. I was trying to make a point of that hbo is making a killing (but I can only find hard numbers from disney)
I watch all the new releases on that weekend, and i keep my subscription going year round for hbo.
Walmart is having a clearance instore atm for anyone thats looking. Brickseek is completely off but my local walmart had a bunch of stuff (all instore) in stock on 50-75% off, but all lower level stuff, no gaming stuff. Basically lower tier items that were $300 down to $100-125.
not really.
I havent heard numbers for hbo max, but I know disney plus was looking to add an additional 20 million users this quarter.
20 million x $8
on top of the 115 million subs they already have.
Personally I liked skype better then teams (for interoffice IM) as thats all I use it for.
I just wish teams auto erased everytime you closed it like skype did. :(
most studios seem to be doing ok still.
I always thought it was a pipe dream *Pre covid* to just pay $20 to watch it in my living room day of release.
I can't see it reversing.
just curious, why do you say that? (serious comment)
I keep hearing ramblings that multiple places are trying to jump in to help. (Obv they haven't but are trying)
on a side note---
I picked up an "used" (damaged package) ssd 500gb off amazon this weekend for the price of lunch.
Got it today....the box was smushed on one corner.
works like a top (so far)
I meant more so character infringement and the like. Ive heard of people shirts on ebay or etsy that aren't Disney official and they definitely go after them.
while I do agree on both of those cities, lol
You're definitely missing out...some amazing places on the east coast.. 100's of miles of amazing things outside of those 20 mile hubs.
honestly my kids both have regular ipads, so yes Id definitely go w the larger pro.
however I remember back in the day I had a 13.3 macbook at somepoint and thought it was too small
I think I could get into it now tho
