my return monitor was worse haha..it came half assembled, it was missing all the ports in the back and someone placed tape on the lower left corner w/asian writing on it haha..waiting on the 2nd replacement

i did a monitor exchange its coming mon, and i asked if its a new one they're sending and they confirmed its new..just keep calling till u get a rep that'll send u a new one btw, is there an obvious sign if something's refurb? do they put a sticker on the box, items, etc?

i'd be demanding them to send me 2 replacement monitors at once hahah...i plan to use this monitor for the next 4-5 years [unless i can find a price mistake on a website haha] and there aint no way im gonna let a grey,stuck or dead pixel annoy me everytime i use my pc

yah i knew they were going to pull the coupons...it seemed like one of those coupons wasnt meant to be used for this monitor..and u also have a 2week free trial period in which to return products to dell too right? dont they have to exchange for another if its still under warranty and there are legit probs no matter how many times you need to return it? i havent read the 'entire' warranty but there's not restrictions,special cases where they can make an technical ruling and deny you technical...

uuggg im having trouble...my monitor says no dp cable, i even tried using hdmi connection and that doesnt work..i have a sapphire 7970 radeon, that cant be the reason can it? anything else i can try tonight before i call dell tomorrow? TIA

damn, i called ergotron, none of these will work for glass desk! it'll eventually crack it, now i gotta research if people have modified the clamps by inserting rubber/or pieces of wood between the glass desk and clamp, only other option is wall mounts which i dont want to drill a hole into haha...

stupid fedex, its been sitting at the sorting facility since sat! haha i called them about why they waiting till mon to delivery, get this even if u have 1 day shipping, fedex still charge extra for weekends so if the shipper doesnt pay extra it'll get delayed til weekday..i never knew fedex did...

i never had to put a stand and monitor together, but what ive seen on youtube is the best way is to place the screen face down on a nonscratch surface [on a cloth?] and than assemble the stand onto the back of the monitor? TIA btw, when mon comes around and we tear open the box [like its xmas...

i dunno whats the conversion factor is from US dollars to australian dollars, but folks down there and some parts of europe are getting the monitors for that amount off from reading the different sites [overclock.net,overclockers UK] so unless u calling them all liars, check into it biatch:p
