I have 1000W version of this PSU and just bought a 4090, but I also bought a Seasonic 12vhpwr cable. From what I've read, phanteks is basically a rebranded Seasonic. If so would the adapater work?

Umm, the 4090 I bought is about 10lbs. The newegg label said 10lbs and I can tell you the box it came in was a few oz at most.

OK, this is what I've been told, so I'm thinking it's my PSU.

I understand what you're saying. But I've read and on other PC tech forums people have been saying that the 3090s EAT a lot of power and can spike the power usage to over 1k and trip the PSU and that's why I get these random shut downs while playing games here and there.

FTW3 Ultra 3090. I'm having issue playing games as sometimes when my GPU is pushing itself my PC turns off randomly and I think it's my PSU, so I want to buy a 1200.

Well, played with the curve and have it at a level I like. WAY WAY better, now I'm idling at about 29-30 and at max load 69-72. Such a difference!

How would that look like. Never really played with fan curves, so it's new to me. something like 0-50c at 20%spd 50-70c 60% and 70c+ 80%spd?

Yup, I'm guessing keeping the fan speed and or curve helps prevent this.

By fan curve do you mean adjusting the fan speed? Right now I have not touched the fan speed at all, but was thinking about having it run at 40-50% on all 3 to keep it from always running hot while underload. I do have a case with a swinging tempered glass door I'll keep it open to expel air.

I oc'ed my eVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra 950mem and 96gpu and was just wondering what are the temps I should be getting while underload. Right now nothing goes over 90C as it's set to 90c MAX on the evga app I'm using. It does get really loud every few mins and hot, then repeats the process every 5 min...

Checked for the 48" C1 at BB.com and Amazon, both said they were sold out. So I guess they're released but sold out?

I don't think one monitor is ever enough, even if it's 48". I'd still need a 2nd or even third at 32".

I went with a Phanteks RevoltX 1k PSU Same set up as you, but AMD 5950x. Phanteks uses seasonic's internals so it's a quality unit.

Was able to snag a 5950x at the MC in Columbus.

Yup I did. Went around 10am and there was a small line at the VC section, that grew much longer like 15min later, so I just made it. They did have 4 Asus ROG Strix 3090, but of course those sold out. But they did have A LOT of the MSI Gaming X Trio and I did pick one of those up.

Just went to MC here in Columbus and waited in line for 30min and picked up a RTX 3090 MSI Gaming Trio. Only thing is I want an eVGA FTW3 Ultra or the Asus Strix, so hopefully I can find someone willing to trade.

My MC is legit showing over 30 RTX 3090 (all differnt brands) on their website, I don't know if that's a glitch, but I'm gonna check tomorrow morning.

Just check this morning and it looks like they have about 10+ RTX 3090 5 Asus Strix 5 MSI. Edit: website says they have 20 of the MSI, gotta be an error LMAO

There's actually one down in Cincinnati that's a FTW3, but I'm not driving 2hrs to end up short. It's been on their site since last night.
