Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
You need to check your system out because something is very likely not working properly. I've used FF for years as well (+different GPUs) and never had a problem.
I use a cablemod cable for my 4080S w/o issue, so I kinda doubt that was the issue, especially if there was no damage visible on the cable or card connector.
I have a 4080S and have thought about it. Just can't really find a compelling reason to buy so I haven't. You just kinda have to decide if it's worth it to you.
You haven't been using the feature properly for years. The recommended is gsync+vsync ON in CP/OFF in game and if possible fps cap 2-3 below refresh rate. As others have mentioned other settings will limit your FPS now anyway like the low latency setting.
I liked their mice and bought them for years, but they kept failing on me typically right outside the warranty window. After the 3rd one I just decided to stop buying their products.
Yeah I had issues with an older game of theirs (observer) so it wouldn't be surprising if this one needed a bit to iron out some issues. We'll see of course it does look promising.
Unless there's a problem with the latest patch or something I have not heard many people complaining about crashing issues. I don't have much time in the game but I played a bit on release and had no issues.
Now that that "trick" has been widely shared don't expect it to work. The inventory was so low to begin with that it was probably all gone in 1-2 days.
Before doing anything check windows update history and see if it installed any drivers recently. If so roll them back. Not sure why AI is saying it's the PSU. While it could be any hardware component the PSU is unlikely if it's not being stressed at all when the pc crashes.
They definitely are buying because it's from software coming off a huge success with Elden Ring. And in a way this is like Elden Ring DLC. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't extremely popular.
They have continually had some sweet graphics and it's just too bad they keep fumbling the ball otherwise. I loved how BF1/5 looked but didn't buy either of them. Hopefully they get this one right, even though I don't much care for modern stuff.
Ah, you get to pay a nice price premium for an ugly card that performs just about the same as the rest of the 5090s. Would be nice if they took a crack at making something that looks cool/good for a change.
