sweet, thanks! Is there a version of this that's about 12 feet or so? I figure the kevlar thing is cheap marketing, my logitech g500 comes with that fake kevlar crap and it rips really easily. I just hope this cable will actually lock into place, I like the media cable I purchased that fits my...
Hi guys!
I have a serious problem, I can't find an audio cable that is long and high quality that will fit my new headphones. These are the ones I purchased and they do fit my cheaper headphones, but not the V-moda. I feel these may not be the highest quality possible so if you have expertise...
Thanks Alai, I tried out the panasonic and they're actually really nice, for my needs anyways. The construction is terribly flimsy, I can't see anyone spending $200 for these new, but the sound quality and noise cancellation is actually...not bad!
well I guess I could spend maybe...oh $150 at the most, but that's REALLY pushing it. I'd like to try and stay at $50 and under, I've also considered the turtle beach x12's but that's only because I DO sometimes game, but what I'd really like is something a bit more audiophile savvy.
Hello!
I have a new Yamaha receiver, and it comes with a 1/4" headphone jack port. I was wondering what brand/model would you recommend for the best sound experience when I decide to go headphone only instead of the 5.1 surround.
Well the Pioneer sounds great, I have R30's that pretty much push out the boom I need, wile the Pioneer just picks up what's left. I noticed that it does sound a bit...punchy, you hear alot of "PFFT" when it does its thing, which I'm sure that's what a woofer is spose to do, but it doesn't sound...
I was thinking about possibly getting some Klipsch RW-82's or something of that nature, they sound wonderful and have great reviews. What do you think?
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the Klipsch RW-12d would be better than my current Pioneer S-W200 sub. I have 2 R30's and a CSi3 center powered by 12 gauge wire and a Yamaha receiver.
Or would the BIC-F12 be better than either of these? How about the Polk Audio PSW-505?
Here's my setup, lemme know if I did good.
I got the R30's for $100.
I got the CSi3 for $50.
I got a Yamaha RX-V550 for a steal at $40.
I got a pioneer S-W200 for $30.
Altogether I spent about $240 ($10 for shipping) and I feel like I got a really good deal. The sound is crisp, there's...
Well David, this is my first DIY job. I have a relatively small room, so perhaps the room correction tech would be nice. I'm looking for only a few inputs, mostly everything is taken care of via HDMI so I don't need any of the other ports really. I'd like something that is great for...
Ok, thanks NoTrigger. What I plan on doing is having the receiver connect to my HTPC through the audio cable I just purchased, then connect my Dell u2410 via HDMI cable to the receiver. I can do it the other way where my Monitor will be connected straight from my graphics card, but I'm sure it...
So I should send the audio straight from HDMI?
I got this:

Ok, so Here's what I'm working with.
I have 2 polk audio R30's with the CSi3 center (cherry) for the speakers.
For the receiver, I'm thinking of using either a Pioneer, or Onkyo, but I'm not sure what would be best (between $200-300 range preferred).
For the sub, this is where I get stuck...
