Thanks Alai, I tried out the panasonic and they're actually really nice, for my needs anyways. The construction is terribly flimsy, I can't see anyone spending $200 for these new, but the sound quality and noise cancellation is actually...not bad!

I have a chance of getting a pair of Panasonic RP-HC500's for only $50, and they look really good, does anyone own or have used these?

well I guess I could spend maybe...oh $150 at the most, but that's REALLY pushing it. I'd like to try and stay at $50 and under, I've also considered the turtle beach x12's but that's only because I DO sometimes game, but what I'd really like is something a bit more audiophile savvy.

Hello! I have a new Yamaha receiver, and it comes with a 1/4" headphone jack port. I was wondering what brand/model would you recommend for the best sound experience when I decide to go headphone only instead of the 5.1 surround.

Well the Pioneer sounds great, I have R30's that pretty much push out the boom I need, wile the Pioneer just picks up what's left. I noticed that it does sound a bit...punchy, you hear alot of "PFFT" when it does its thing, which I'm sure that's what a woofer is spose to do, but it doesn't sound...

Is this even with a "Monster" brand optical cable? Shouldn't optic be able to transfer this properly by now? How do you get the best sound to a HTPC?

I was thinking about possibly getting some Klipsch RW-82's or something of that nature, they sound wonderful and have great reviews. What do you think?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the Klipsch RW-12d would be better than my current Pioneer S-W200 sub. I have 2 R30's and a CSi3 center powered by 12 gauge wire and a Yamaha receiver. Or would the BIC-F12 be better than either of these? How about the Polk Audio PSW-505?
