ASUS Z77 Motherboards - Official Support Thread

Has anyone had the BIOS lose all settings and behave as though its been cleared? I flashed to 1616 when it was released and it happened first a few days later, I put it down to a glitch and redid settings. Its now done this three times, nothing to note when it does, just normal start up to find...

Great, always satisfying when you solve it yourself. I tried that RST version, but went back to the previous one because of the memory leak, that was before updating Virtu.

I don't about drivers, but you could try uninstalling, then manually delete the Lucidlogix folder under your user name (C:\Users\yourusername\Lucidlogix), reboot and try a fresh instal. Failing that put the previous version back. Sorry, wish I could be more helpful.

BIOS 1406 has been uploaded since yesterday for the -V Pro, but it's corrupted. The file is unusable. We have to wait for ASUS to realise and re-upload it.

When that happened to me it was the PSU, the 3,3v output was down. Can you try another?

Replacemant for dead ASUS P67 Sabertooth

My P67 Sabertooth has died, whilst waiting for RMA etc I want to continue working, I'll sell the RMA when I get it. What would be the best P67 I could buy in the meantime? I'm not planning upgrading anytime soon, just want to swap CPU i7, SSD, 16Gb of RAM etc onto a new board and get on with...

SSD RAID Maintenance Toolset: How to backup and restore RAID-0 image

Fair enough, always more than one way to do things, and good we can choose. I like the built in image backup for the automatic daily incremental backups. I also double boot, so if the default restore method caused problems like you describe, it would be easy to mount the VHD image and clone/copy...

    I think my C300 256GB is Dead

Indeed, the only thing that could be worse would be to admit to the same 'accident' on Crucials own support forum...oh, too late. In all seriousness the only course of action is to act dumb (?), and RMA it. We can all make mistakes, if it costs then so be it.

SSD RAID Maintenance Toolset: How to backup and restore RAID-0 image

Is the W7 built in backup a suitable image maker? I have mine create a daily backup, and I've restored it to the SSD RAID-0 a couple of times now. I use a a pair M4 128Gb for the array, and as the garbage collection on these drives is said to very good I don't worry about lack of TRIM. The main...

    M4 Garbage Collection?

According to their forums the M4 has excellent GC, Click for link. Its one reason I chose to RAID a pair of M4s. Don't need to give it a second thought.

Crucial M4 firmware update to 0009

I've just updated my M4 to the new firmware, straightforward enough. Details here Crucial M4 users are in for a treat! Release Date: 08/25/2011 Change Log: Changes made in version 0002 (m4 can be updated to revision 0009 directly from either revision 0001 or 0002) Improved...

Recommend an SSD for P67 Sabertooth

Seems the SF controller problems may or may be solved, but I agree now the M4 looks a better option. Took the plunge and ordered 128GB M4

Recommend an SSD for P67 Sabertooth

I'm wanting to put the OS onto an SSD, so thinking about getting a 64Gb SSD just as boot and system drive to get the performance gain. I'll move libraries and user files etc etc off to another place so thinking 64Gb should then be enough. I see though that there seem to be a few issues with...

    ASUS Sabertooth P67 EZFlash unavailable

I've just got a Sabertooth P67 Rev 1.02 and I can't get into EZFlash from the BIOS. When I try to select it it just gives me a black screen. I can only flash from within the OS using AI Suite update facility.. I get this problem with BIOS 1850, 1801, and tried 17xx but still no joy. It did...
