Antec ISK 110 Little Monster Gaming Build

A little late to the party, but love the build nevertheless. I just thought I'd chime in that if you want to have all of your front USB ports functional, you can use this adapter to convert the internal USB 3.0 header to a USB 2.0 header...

what's the closest you've made/seen a system run to the limit of its PSU?

I remember that build. If you recall, I too had an ISK 310-150 running an HD7750. It just so happens that today I just shoe-horned a GTX 750 Ti into said build. Nobody makes a single slot low profile GTX 750 Ti so I had to make one myself. Kill-a-watt running Furmark is about 142W on the...

Philips Fidelio X1 - a mini review and serious contender

The X1 has made my short list. I'm looking to get a supplementary set of headphones to complement my current AKG K550's. I find the K550 very analytical and am wanting a more... fun headphone. Can you give more insight to the soundstage and instrument separation in comparison to the HE400 and...

Help Selecting a mini Keyboard/Mouse Trackpad for HTPC

I have a Dinovo Mini and have had a lot of trouble with it. I have since found the "Logitech Mini PC Entertainment Keyboard" which looks nearly identical to the Dinovo Mini but costs half as much. I love it so far. I uses normal RF rather than BT which I find far more reliable. The button...

    Haswell Z87 SFF motherboard list

PC Perspective is reporting that the Impact has WiFi ac and Bluetooth 4.0 onboard as part of the mPCIe Combo II Card (link). I don't see any antennae though. Did they just word this sentence wrong and are actually saying that you could install a WiFi/BT card in the NGFF slot? See text below.

    Haswell Z87 SFF motherboard list

Did you read the whole article? Both Asus and Gigabyte will also have ITX. For micro-ATX there's the Asus Gryphon and the Gigabyte Sniper M5 in addition to ROG. There will be plenty of options.

    Haswell Z87 SFF motherboard list

I don't know about this gold path Asus is going down. ECS has already done it, and I'd hate to think Asus is doing anything to follow/copy ECS: I'd like to see a ROG ITX board too. Or maybe something like this:

    ANTEC ISK 300-65 EC ITX

I've got the Sapphire LP 7750 collecting dust right now. It's going into an ISK 310-150 paired with an i3-3220 (also collecting dust at the moment). I'll try to remember and post kill-a-watt readings when I finally get around to the build. Just need the motherboard...

    Low Profile HD 7750 ?

Yeah, saw that one. Too bad it's marked up 20% making it the most expensive 7750 on the egg. Looks like there's not much else for US customers. I've got a couple months to wait for either prices to come down or for another LP model to come out.

    New Low Profile 7750

So I guess the only single slot LP competition to the VisionTek in the US will be from PowerColor. Hope it comes out soon.

    New Low Profile 7750

Oooo.... haven't seen that one before. $25 premium over their non-LP card though is tough to swallow. Need some competition to bring it down more.

That may not be possible. According to this thread, Sapphire doesn't plan to sell it in the states. I'm turning into one sad panda. :(:(:(

Want cherry red switches, full backlit, no extra media/macro keys

You might be able to get 20% off the Nighthawk if you PM sam.cpcr on the CPCR forum. That takes it from $149 down to $119. See here for details: http://www.forums.custompcreview.com/f75/max-keyboard-nighthawk-x8-x9-group-buy-5-thread-838/index4.html

Have you seen the Nighthawk X9? I just received mine. As far as I know, it's one of only a couple USB keyboards with full NKRO. http://www.maxkeyboard.com/max-keyboard-nighthawk-x9-red-backlit-mechanical-keyboard.html Google some reviews.

    Low Profile HD 7750 ?

Any word on availability? I'm still waiting for retail stock to show up on the Sapphire. I wonder which will be quieter- the Sapphire or the PowerColor? Hopefully reviews will pop up with some measurements. On that same note, any chance for a single slot, low profile, passive 7750?? It's...

As long as you get the 10.08" (25.6cm) variety they should fit. Looking at newegg, some 680's are 10.08", some are longer ~10.6". My 10.08" HD6950 fits both Gene-Z PCIe slots just fine in this case. Pics in this thread. The more important question you should be asking is will they overheat...

    M350 HTPC thoughts?

I've got an Asus E35M1-I Deluxe zacate board in an ISK case. It's passive too. The thing still stays pretty darn cool IMO. If you need some power or temp data, I can play around with it for you... though I don't know how the Zotac passive solution compares to Asus.

I just built with the PC-V600FX and installed a Spire Thermax Eclipse II with about 2-3mm to spare. See pics here: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1038107633&postcount=33 It's 153mm tall. The case supports up to 155mm coolers.

Ah hell. I thought the bottom PCIe x16 only ran in x8 mode when two cards were installed. But no, it's full-time x8. I guess I'll have to move it back to the top slot. My heatsink fan is about <1cm away from the video card when it's in the top slot. Goodbye good CPU temps. I'll post back...

    Lian Li V600F

The top fan has rubber grommets around the screws that slide into slots to hold the fan in place. The screws are extended length to allow the filter and grommets to be installed. If you remove the fan filter, the original screws are too long and the grommets don't sit flush with the fan...

Ok, here's another run with Realtemp 3.69.1. It looks like my VID is at 1.3511V. I'm running BIOS 0902. Might want to check the mounting of your Noctua. I do have different case fans and I've removed the top hard drive bay, but I don't see why you should have temps 20°C higher than me...

    Lian Li V600F

I'm getting pretty good temps with my setup, at least at stock settings: I have a heatsink that shoots the heat towards the top 140mm fan though. I have my CPU voltage set to auto in BIOS also.

There really are very few build pics of this case on the web. I don't know if it's because of the low reviews on Newegg or what. I just completed mine and thought I'd contribute some pics. This is my first build using Lian Li. I swapped out all the Lian Li fans for my own and was going for a...
