Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Funny when they guy who doesn't do this professionally is the one to get it to melt when all the professional tech tubers couldn't make the fucker melt no matter what they tried.
Seems Sony wants less of our money. I'm sure I speak for many when I say, "Okay".
Thanks for this info, I haven't been keeping up with the state of emulation for this particular title. (y)
Performance impacts vs compromised hardware. It's wild to me that people glossed over the potential for a CPU itself to carry malicious code allowing it to infect any system it is installed in (regardless of formatting and fresh install of the OS) over performance impacts.
Also, I was unaware...
I seem to remember a flaw that allowed an attacker to embed malicious code inside the chip responsible for AMDs security essentially making the CPU compromised at a hardware level. Am I misremembering? If I'm not, seems to me AMD flaws have been found consistently for last couple of years. It...
Again, the magnet is super weak. It will not affect the Bluray drive at all. In the video that person only places the shortest ones on the side of the case because the longer ones tilt and fall off because the magnet is only strong enough to prevent it from shifting around because of any...
I have one of these, or the same version sold on Amazon at least. The magnet is not that strong because the whole thing is made out of aluminum and weights next to nothing. The magnet's only function is really just keeping it in place so it doesn't shift around.
I have a pair of these. How in the fuck did they ever balloon to $179.99?!?!? They MSRP'd for $99.99 pre-pandemic and went on sale occasionally for $49.99, the price I paid for them.
Save your money, they are only worth it if you could get them for about $50.
Edit: Yeah, fuck logitech. They...
There was plenty of opportunities during the 50XX series release to purchase them at MSRP. We won't know if things will change for the better or worse upon next generations releases, but people have got to let go of this incessant negativity at next generation rumors because they somehow feel...
I see a slight scratch on the connector. You've definitely been bamboozled by Nividia! You should start a class action lawsuit to recoup the cost of your GPU for such a blatant design flaw.
I think you misplaced you tank of copium. I found it in the dumpster out back, try not to lose it again.
All jokes aside, there is absolutely 0 difference in colors between Radeon and GTX/RTX ever since videos cards started using digital video signals over analog signals. This isn't even up...
Not possible. I have it on good authority from members from this very board how AMD had the greatest launch in GPU history for their top tier luxury 9070 and 9070xt cards. There were even dozens upon dozens of pictures of very happy customers walking out of actual brick and mortar stores with...
Installed without a hitch over 595.71, played a run of the Armatus Demo flawlessly, .920v @ 2962MHz as per my custom power curve like always. So far, rock solid like previous drivers. Honestly, since the single driver that gave me a black screen on install months ago, all other drivers on my...
Running 595.71 for 2 days now with no issues so far with g-sync optimized settings for a 165Hz monitor and smooth motion on at all times for all games. 5080 FE with a custom curve to limit voltage to .950v @ 3000MHz and my card hits a max of 2962MHz and has not gone above .920v but performance...
DD-WRT user here, just updated my router yesterday after reading this thread. Last update was 2/26/26. Hope if has whatever fix is needed for this vulnerability.
Cool story. I just used a high quality cable designed for my PSU andplugged my in properly. Been working a treat this whole time with no issues.
Seating a power connector properly, who would have thunk?
And a Rolls Royce is still a car, but you don't see people who make $80K a year bitching they can afford one. Only in the PC space do we have frugal gamers crying about the price of a luxury product.
Don't want to pay north of $6K on a gaming card, get an RTX 5050 and be content. Just do us a...
Saying this is a gaming video card is like saying a Rolls Royce is a driving car. While technically right, you show just how little you know about the product and who it's aimed at. Spoiler alert, this isn't a product for you.
This isn't a mass produce product aim at everyone. It is a niche product inside of a niche. This is a product for those people who have to have the very best regardless of price.
Not sure why you are surprised.
Facts?
Legitimate isn't the same thing as authorized. We have known for the 4090's and 5090's whole product lives that Bestbuy is the only authorized retailer selling the FE models other than Nvidia themselves.
Do us a favor, keep your "facts" to yourself, because let's be completely honest...
Newegg isn't an authorized seller for the FE cards. Those are third party sellers using the newegg platform. Stop trying to spread misinformation, this is [H] and spewing this kind of bullshit here is just embarrassing.
My pleasure. I prefer my rig to be discrete and not "loud" with unicorn vomit, so I looked long and hard at how to possibly dim or turn the LEDs off and even considered unplugging the LEDs from the board somehow early on in my search. But happened to notice OpenRGB detect my 5080 FE and while...
