Thanks for the answer, reason i would prefer the H100 is because it's simple and lightweight. Besides where i live (denmark), the rasa is double the price. I often transport my rig to LANs and such, and well it's not always the smoothest rides so i wouldn't feel safe having the carry around a...
Hello
I am in dire need of a stand for three monitors since my desktop does not really allow me to correctly allign my monitors. Problem is i live in Denmark and there is no real market for these products so they end up costing about 400-500$. However i recently found a relatively cheap one...
Hello
So i've recently begun the process of getting the most out of my build, i am on the edge of how far i can push it with current temperatures, so i thought i would try and upgrade the cooling possibilites of my Phantom, currently everything is as stock.
I am currently using a Scythe...
Thanks for the response, i called the place from where i ordered it and picked it up and they agreed to let me switch it with a new one when i deliver it, great for means it doesn't have to go through support first and i don't have to wait on a new power supply, hopefully i will have more luck...
Just tried gaming a bit skyrim and crysis, and doesn't seem the PSU spins up, which perhaps would indicate that its stuck at full speed? Its still louder than my CPU cooler and graphic cards.
Hello
I've just purchased this PSU and installed it in my system, however it is much more noisy than i hoped for, in idle. I used an 600watt OCZ ModXStream before, and it didn't make a sound in idle, but right now the PSU is the only thing i'm hearing, like its running on full speed, reading...
Just watching E3 as this was announced, seems interesting. Includes the new feature that allow two people to watch their own image on same screen. Don't think any specs are released yet on it though.
Any thoughts on this?
Will be available for 499$ including the monitor, glasses, HDMI cable...
Hello
My friend recently got himself a Samsung UE40C5105. However, he just got a super deal on a new high end television and needs to get rid of the Samsung, where he offers me the TV for something like 200-300$.
Unfortunately he lives quite a bit away from me so i can't watch the TV...
I don't mind configuring stuff a bit, i like tweaking stuff actually.
Much of my time spend on the computer is done composing music, in that context im 100% sure that the extra screen estate will be very beneficial.
As far as graphic solution goes, i have a well cooled chassis and...
Just a last question, is it still required to have an active displayport adapter if i don't have a native displayport monitor? or can it be run with 2x dvi 1 hdmi?
Thanks for the reply all :) I decided to take the plunge and have ordered the display, and hoping it'll arrive today. I do belive that my graphic card solution is powerful enough to make it (6950CF).
Okay thanks :)
I've seen screenshots where the processline is crossed through all monitors, is there a way to make the middle monitor the "Main", meaning the important stuff still goes on there?
Hello
I'm currently the owner of 2 Eizo FS2331, and am strongly considering getting the third so i can try out a eyefinity configuration. But before i do so i have a few questions about it.
Is eyefinity something that is enabled the whole time, or can i do so that only some games activate...
Is there anyway i can change the OSD setting "Smoothing" on the screen? Mine is locked to three and can't figure if its changeable, if so anyone having better results using higher or lower values?
Hello
I've been offered this BX2350 monitor from a friend as he is changing out stock. It is unused/unopened, and he sells it for a little under half price (about 110$ or so). Sounds like a fair deal to me, however
I allready sit around with 2 Eizo FS2331, and i love the idea to go...
By the looks of it, only the metal stand can be removed. Might be somewhere to screw off the bottom stand thing can check that a bit later. But initial thought is that its not really possible
No problem hope it was useful :)
Im hoping to get the third sometime. I don't think the cost is asking much considering the much quality you get from the price
The ghosting is very subjective i guess. I have never really gamed anything on a CRT monitor and therefor do not really know any "standards", besides ghosting is a new term to me and not something i noticed before i knew what it was :)
Anywho, for general use text can become quite...
My second FS2331 is coming today :) I am very satisfied with the display. Black levels are amazing, and picture is just beautiful. Hopefully my second will come with no problems like my first.
If anybody have questions ask and i will try to answer
Yeah well i think the Eizo is great, just keep hearing IPS as "the" panel, so thought it might be better. I think the response time is fine on the eizo, a bit blur now and then but i dont complain about it. but guess it will be another eizo :)
hah no problem. Didn't realise that the U2311H was a bad monitor, looking aside the QC control. But it might explain the cheaper than TN panel price it has right now. (In denmark)
This is a bit continue of another thread i made, but anywho
I need a secondary monitor, i might end up purchasing a third later on but not sure on that yet. I currently have a FS2331 that im satisfied with, and theres a deal on it for half price, so its like 300$. But the U2311H is also very...
Hello
I'm considering to purchase a secondary monitor, that i will place next to my Eizo FS2331.
Right now i can purchase the same monitor for around 300$, since its on sale -22% (and i can get 25% off any purchase).
Second consideration is the new VA/LED panels by benQ since they are...
**Edit**
Nevermind, seems like its going to end up costing 50 euro more ordering directly from them, ill just wait till they come back in stock home here. Thanks though didnt know i could order directly from eizo
Okay thanks a lot, really great help you given :) Think im about as set as i can be. Unless you or someone else says "This screen is so much better" haha :)
Well thanks you made it much easier for me, too bad the display isnt in stock anywhere at this moment
Thanks, exactly what im looking for then :)
Just a last question, since my main focus is games, which primary are like World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Call of Duty and stuff like that, do you think i would be in awe sometime that i didn't jump on the 120 Hz boat, or is the difference less...
Thanks that really useful information :) So i guess The Eizo might be the one meeting my requirements the most within my pricerange?
Do you think it would be possible to play a FPS game on the monitor without severe input lag/response time?
Well i have no idea of how response time and ghosting are going to effect me, honestly i never really knew what i ment until some time ago. My only reference as a monitor is my dead BenQ V2400W.
Do you know how the response time are compared to that monitor...
