Hope you guys didn't spend all your money on these designs.
Looking at steamlink and other technologies coming up, maybe the demand for a steambox won't be as high as you would want anyway.
Hopefully you guys will find something else to work on. Like others have said. Maybe a cool matx. I...
250 isnt much for a limited edition case with top build quality. Especially when that case probably has all the features you always wanted but somehow all the other manufacturers wants you to compromise on. I would however only keep toying with ideas for now. The steam box could stir up a lot of...
I see where you are going with the formfactor.
If I could wish for an Mx. I would love to see you guys have a go at a HTPC style chassi. I see a lot designs coming out for steam boxes, but they all lack the finesse you guys would give it. I would also love a NAS-chassi, but the market is...
I only paid 144kr here in Stockholm. Very weird... should have been the same.
Haven't opened the box yet. But carrying the box home easily in my left hand was a new experience in case shopping. Heres to you little M1... I already know I love you.
Tomorrow I will look for dents and give you...
Just wanted to show interest for that res.
I also regret not ordering more than one case. But Im sure there will be an M2 down the road. New components means new ways to build in the case. This could all be a part of an M2.
The good thing about anodized is that you can paint over it without that much hassle.
But Id prefer to have it painted the way I want it (deeeeeeep white) when I get it.
No, not like this.
And back then Matt was here and said what was going on. Right now I just don't feel like waiting anymore. Im gonna build using some other case. Maybe I will get a lan-gear case for my next build... but that probably won't be for 5 years.
Lan Gear are still keeping the lid on when it comes to the final design. So noone knows what fits and what doesn't.
As for which case to get? Well... if you want to wait for this case, do it. It could still turn out to be a bad case.
And yes... the site really needs some lovin'
I'm also thinking about waiting. Problem is I really doubt that ASUS, Gigabyte etc will release new ITX-boards with the z68 chipset in just 4-6 months. If you are waiting for z68 itx I think it will be quite a long wait. Most likely you will get Bulldozer before z68 on ITX.
According to swedish hardware site Nordichardware.se, the Asus P8H67-I Deluxe features the ability to overclock the CPU and the IGP.
This is really confusing...
Mattinv: Glad to have you back! I missed you!
Looking forward to some pictures of the final design. Will we get pictures of both the bigger, and the smaller version?
What colours will the case come in? Are we able to make special orders regarding colours at a premium price When do we get...
I think a lot of people didn't really understand the big demand for itx untill people started buying second hand DFI boards for really high prices. Also the gigabyte board must have sold a lot as well. Thats why we are seeing ITX boards for sandy bridge at launch.
I have to agree. There is one or two of each (tower, cube etc...) but I wouldn't exactly say that there isn't a lot of room for improvement.
Anyway, there is no information about a gigabyte ITX Sandy bridge... I did however find a DFI one but its only for industrial use.
What we really want are the specs...
Maybe they are trying to get a hold of the measurements of the new ATI-cards. It would be a bit weird releasing a case that fits the 5970 but won't fit the next generation that is released in january.
Im guessing we won't get the final specs untill they have OK:ed the final prototype before mass production.
Now lets just hope there are some ITX-boards for sandy bridge on launch.
If you don't expect the build to be finished by february. I wouldn't buy any of the components right now.
Just buy the case and the WC-stuff. There are a lot of nice releases untill february.
