If first gen Navi is low to mid-range then I would think it'd be doubtful that they still produce at least the 570/580. It would also make sense as to why the those two cards are going for so cheap now, perhaps they're trying to clear inventory leading up to Navi release?

Sounds like a good card to me, competitive at high end and a way to stabilize market cap until Navi is ready.

Just jumped on the xeon bandwagon. Got a 5670 for 75, incl. shipping, last week. So far I've taken it to 4.3ghz, 24 cpu multi/180 Blck/1.4 on the cpu, reaching high 70s with h50. Gotta say these things run ice cold compared to my old 920.

Tried putting the cards in a newer gen machine, z97, and still won't recognize cable. So it's either the cable, or a manufacturer defect of the new card. Or the different cards refuse to play nice. Sigh

I'm using an Asus sli bridge I got off of ebay years back, worked fine with my previous 480 sli setup. Would a newer more, modern sli bridge potentially fix this? If so, where could I find one?

Ok, so through booting into windows via the lcd I was able to get crt monitor to work, but monitor will only do 1280x960 @ 85 hz. Cord is rated to at least do 1080p @ 60hz. I'm new to catalyst control center, how can I attempt to force a custom resolution/refresh rate?

Only one display port, but I indeed haven't attempted to connect to my lcd, which would be smart... only thing is I'm not sure if i have a DVI D cable that my lcd will physically connect with, are people having to buy new dvi cables with these cards?

Monitor won't post, so can't change resolution. And yes, this monitor 100% works, I've switched old and new video card a couple times, monitor works with 480s every time. It is used as my main monitor.
