Hmmm.. that's what I was thinking. The XT BIOS I've used previously was a lot quicker, that was all. But maybe it's better to have a working card than a 5% quicker non working one... Just seems strange that's all.

modded the pins on the bottom of the cpu to force it into a 11.5x multiplier, but it still boots up at 11x, no matter what it's set at in the bios.

Well, I think the mobo or memory is maxed out. It's hitting 210MHz fsb, at default settings. 2310MHz is okay. But, I try and change the multiplier of change the voltage, and it fails to post. Has anyone else had problems with these new CPUs?

If I adjust either then the system will refuse to post, unless both are in their 'Default H/W' position. It will even do this for the correct values.. eg, set the multiplier to 11x
