Have any of you guys got hold of any recently produced chips?
I'm talking about '04 production ones.. How are they overclocking?
I've never had much luck with any 2500+s I've had.

Many thanks in advance,
Karl

Define luck? I bought a locked 2500+ in December from NewEgg that runs 2.365 on air. That's a 29% o/c. I consider that a good chip. 2500+'s aren't 2.4C's if that's what yoiu're looking for.

By luck I meant I had a reasonable quantity of week ~32 cores to test last year, and they all maxed out at about 2.1GHz.
I was wondering if the '04 chips were much better on average..

I have a week 47, think that it's '04. Running at 3200+ on stock voltages stable as a rock with stock cooling. I am sure I could push it a lot more but I'll do that when I get some better cooling.
