I just got my Corsair H50 installed and I'd like to get a decent 3.8 GHz overclock. I've searched google. Most of the guides are for 4+ GHz except for this one:

Is this setup ok? I thought I read something like...
This is a misconception. Pinch to zoom does work on the DROID, however, it is not enabled in the browser. Other apps can and do use it. It is only a matter of them turning it on in a future browser update. There have been multiple videos that show pinch-to-zoom working, such as...
@DamnDirtyApe, are you using the H50 on both setups in your sig? Have you tried doing a higher overclock with your 920? I have the P183 also so the cooling environment is similar.
The Microcenters in Atlanta had Rev B's for several months. They only just got Rev C's in the last couple weeks. I think they wanted to sell off the B stock before ordering new ones.
I pulled the trigger today. I got Microcenter to price match it. I exchanged a TRUE Rev C for it because I didn't want my case to be so crowded (air flow is already tenuous). Hopefully it won't be a mistake.
They have the regular Rev C (standalone heatsink) for $59.99. The RT (with fan and cover) is $74.95
If you have a microcenter near you they have the RT Rev C now for $74.95 as well. You'll pay tax but may save overall because shipping is about $10 at frozencpu.
Microcenters are finally starting to get the RT Rev C in stock. They are $74.99 (includes the fan holder and 1600 RPM fan). That price is pretty good considering it is cheaper than FrozenCPU after the shipping.
Thank you for the insights. Where do you shop for cooling?
Also, would the Corsair H50 be worth looking into? I think it ends up being pretty cheap AR from zipzoomfly.
I guess the one thing I like about the standard TRUE versus the Mega is the fan covers. I find the fan clips to be a pain. That is not important if someone tells me the Mega provides better cooling though.
I want to overclock my new build. Ideally I want to get to 4 GHz but I'll be happy at 3.8 GHz. I've heard a lot about the Cogage True, the Megahalem, and of course the standard TRUE. Which cooler do you recommend? I will spend a max of $100 (fan included).
Mentionable items in my setup:

Will I still need the 1366 bolt-thru kit or does the RevC come with one? Thank you.
I have two Scythe SFF21E... great fans. I can't hear them at all inside my P183. Since it is only 1200 RPM it does not move enough air to cool my dual-SLI video cards. I will probably replace one of them with the 1900 RPM version and keep the second one for my hard drives.
I read on one of the forums that one can get a stable 3.8 ghz simply by setting the BCLK to 180 and leave the rest at AUTO... so I tried that. When I got booted up the CPU was 68C. I rebooted, saw a CPU Temp warning from the POST, and set the BIOS back to default.
Now it seems like the...
Windows 7 RTM is still pretty buggy IMHO. Little things here and there, mostly related to the taskbar (lag starting apps, tray icons not updating properly or appearing blank). I can only speak for the 64-bit version though.
I just finished building my new desktop. I've got dual GTX 275's in SLI on a P6T board. Unfortunately the video cards are very close to each other. At what temperature should I be concerned about them overheating? After running a half hour at roughly idle speeds (just installing stuff), they are...
Hi all,
I am bought this RAM for the following rig:
Core i7 920 (OC'd)
Asus P6T
(2) EVGA NVidia GTX 275 in SLI
Corsair TX 850
The link to the exact product is here:
Newegg
Is this decent enough RAM? I just realized there is a set with faster timing (8-8-8-24 rather than...
I bought the Antec Nine Hundred Two. It took me a long time to decide, but I am really happy with the decision. The install has been very smooth so far.
OK, so I'm building a new rig. I've never actually setup my own processor with thermal paste and heatsink before (I won't digress as to why), so I could use some general noob-friendly advice:
My rig:
Core i7 920
Asus P6T
(2) EVGA NVidia GTX 275 in SLI
Corsair 6GB RAM
Antec Nine Hundred...
Here is my proposed build:
Core i7 920 (will OC to ~3.6GHz)
Asus P6T
(2) EVGA NVidia GTX 275 in SLI
6GB RAM
150GB WD Velociraptor
1TB WD Caviar Black
... probably buy an SSD at some point when the prices come down.
I bought the Corsair TX 750 for $99.99, but I wonder whether it will be...
Here is the new rig I am putting together:
Core i7 920 (will OC)
(2) EVGA NVidia GTX 275 in SLI
6GB RAM
Asus P6T
150GB WD Velociraptor
1TB WD Caviar Black
Corsair TX850
I am looking for a good mid-tower case that will be easy to air cool. I am trying to stay below $100 if possible...
Would you recommend trading my PSU in for the 850W? I plan on adding at least one Velocirapter HDD later, so perhaps I should increase the wattage if there is already doubt on just the two video cards. Suggestions?
