The RTX 2080TI does function better then the RTX 2060. No matter what you are doing this will reflect in how effects are getting used.
You can't run the same effects at the same intensity without crippling the bottom line.
This means that developers are not going to find it easy to work with...
I would suggest you look at Ryzen APU and see if you can get a AM4 (B450) motherboard + APU deal at something as a chain as Microcenter. The power supply would suffice but you would have to get DDR4 ram and supposedly is cheaper now then it was a few years back.
You expect that much from these motherboards feature wise ?
I mean if you are hooked on the PCIE 4.0 thing then I can understand this, but as it stands now (pending reviews saying otherwise) you most likely getting the same from experience from X470.
Yeah but if you put the DXR in a space where it is used (game developers) they have to sell cards when the best cards support DXR cost the most money and the lesser cards support less DXR (however you want to put this, less effects , less objects) the near future will exist only using common...

The list has some prices from all of the motherboard vendors it seems:
The list is bigger then this and has a conversion table for US Dollar
I told you before that Fudzilla has their own sources. Misinformation does not include speculation , those things are different just as reading someone his/her post and just replying with whatever is on your agenda.
For myself I know what speculation is I looked it up in the dictionary I posted...
They do have other content I do like where they were at Guerrilla games and explained which features Horizon zero dawn used to achieve 4k and decent framerates....
That is true but a workload involving a game to test cpu is that the pinnacle of performance to begin with? Now that API have evolved what is the result that people find so reassuring about a 720p game benchmark ?
I was under the impression that a cpu benchmark would tell you about the cpu...
I've linked the Fudzilla article as well with that same price point. And before the end of last year so either they have the same sources or it is most likely something that was planned.
Navi is not the best AMD can do but AMD did their best and I hope that this is a step in the right...
You might think that but Nvidia outsells AMD normally there is no need for such strategy for Nvidia to outsell AMD. AMD countered by lowering the price of Navi.
I looked on duckduckgo and on the Asus forum https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?107639-Rog-strix-b450-f-gaming
But I could not find anything. Did you recently upgrade the bios ?

Go go fightingfi use some quotes next time buddy ;)
Well it is still for the blower version but something is better then nothing ;)
That would be around 2022 maybe then you would get some performance but the DXR feature is pretty relative on its own , Nvidia made Quake 2 a game couple of decades old with a lot less surfaces or complex surfaces and they did ray trace it real time.
Think of that number of years less surface...
I have stopped watching those Digital foundry videos more or less what they are speculating on is so weird sometimes. I have seen them predict certain aspects of console gaming then turn it around and used PC gaming as an example and that totally is not comparable for the simple reason is that...
My thought pattern goes along the way where if you are on a budget don't go above 3600 rating(unless you can get a kit that is something that ticks all the boxes but on Zen 2 37xx is the max for 1:1 memory/speed) and then decide if you need low latency or not.
The trick where you end up with 4...
Link says it is a work station motherboard, what I have gathered from the whole X570 not being cheap and that there motherboards in the line up that goes near $1000 I would not get my hopes up on it being under $500.
This is a Polish website I think the most surprising one is the last one :
Nvidia RTX 2070S 293
AMD Navi 5700XT 280
Nvidia RTX 2060S 261
AMD Navi 5700 247
You would not guess that from listed TDP by both companies....
Numbers don't lie ;)
Numbers from Nvidia are clear they are not making enough money.

But you want to do some more cheer leading. You can try it and ignore...
This picture tells us otherwise :
It is a refresh to gain more revenue the thing is Nvidia was not selling enough units to make the very large number you see in the previous quarters .....
To do what exactly ?
I posted an excerpt from him endorsing Nvidia it does not mean anything if I get it from another source especially since all of them signed 5 year NDA from Nvidia ...
Talking about no credibility ..
Be less clueless :)
I mean it is a big world out there by only fine tuning your braincells by hearing only what you want to hear that means that your development as a whole is rather isolated and pretty limited something that you have no reservation in showing ;)

Not sure when you have public sources to back things up and can show that it is not from AdoredTV but just something we can...
AdoredTV excellent analysis of the how and why super was needed for Nvidia ....
Also a run down of how much faster the cards are from several sites mentioned in the first post.
But what he explained was already the same for each version of PBO , what he neglected to explain is how X570 adds another layer nor did he explain if there is a difference between Ryzen 2K and 3K series ...
Learn to read:
It clearly said trying .....
Clearly said that we do not have a reason to hate Nvidia just don't want to support them
The content is irrelevant to the Navi discussion thread take your Nvidia cheer leading somewhere else please...
No one here has a problem with higher margins since were not buying Nvidia hardware :) . Wondering why we need to hate Nvidia where most of us do not want to support a company which does anti competitive things and anti consumer projects as GPP.
Most(well all) of you guys shoot blanks each...
You can look at something as Vega 56 the prices should be around $250. Need to double check on size L 27.4 cm H 13cm W 5cm for Gigabyte Radeon RX Vega 56 Gaming OC 8GB
That should work with HDMI 2.0b. This one might not be the one that fits your case but you should be able to get something that...
And when you read about people being blacklisted (not just [H]) by Nvidia for reviews and the whole saga of GPP (you know the transparency thing) you are surprised that there is nothing on this?
