I wonder if you go with the W3690-70 processors (those with unlocked ratios), you can modify multiplier values of register
MSR_TURBO_RATIO_LIMIT and overclock cores without the help of the BIOS.
Linux provides the msr.ko module to read/write such register.
If you run Linux, I would suggest you to try CoreFreq to check your DDR geometry and latencies for X58 QPI.
Stress features also included to reach the highest turbo ratio per Core

insmod the Kernel driver with Experimental=1

I have closely studied my V351B : I think the H50's fan might only fits in the center of the tray, locked only left or right. I'm afraid a second front fan won't fit beside it ?
My i7 is so hot when oced ... can't wait to read from your instruction & photos ;)

b/ with my Noctua C12P, i7 core temp goes from 51c up to 80s

Bug into DDR settings is still here when set to Auto : a zero value is still displayed in the last parameter of the first timings block ( whilst CPU Tweaker for Windows displays disabled ) :confused:
So I tried another TIM : the Arctic Cooling MX-2, that I compared with the Noctua NT-H1
I don't find much differences between them, however MX-2 gets a bit lower when CPU idles
Here are the results, using a 12'' OCCT test @ standard clock, speedstep & hyperthreading ON

True, as described in my sig, the Noctua C12P HS stops me from using heighted DDR on the nearest slot
Performance is still bad : with stock frequency, i7 during OCCT load Cores goes beyond 82C, NB 77C, SB 55C

Clearance is ok between HS & PSU
However I found my previous 500W Silver power pulling a bit more air. I mean MODU's fan allways runs less than 500 rpm

Push-Pull (current) : i7 temp = 50C , NB ~ 73C , SB=50C @ idle
Pull-Pull : not better
PSU fan sucks air faster than CPU fan;
Pulling is the Noctua's specification.
( also NB gets better fresh air )
Solutions could be :
1- reverse a PSU with 12 cm fan on top in a Pull-Pull...
