Just wondering is there anything bad about adjusting things like brightness for my monitor via my video card settings? I guess what i'm asking is this any different that just using the manual controls on the monitor itself. Which ones better? My monitor buzzes at a normal brightness, stops...

2560 x 1600 resolution. Do you think I should just get a 4870x2 now or wait until the next x2? I can get a 4870x2 350$ eh what about a 4890 crossfire? Would this be worse for my resolution? thanks

I was wondering for all those who have a Dell 3007wfp-hc what brightness do you set your monitor to? I find myself turning the brightness almost max, not sure if that is normal. Also how far away should I be sitting from a 30 inch monitor?
