vinnie, I tried that, still won't work. Norton is finding nothing wrong with my computer at all, Spybot and Ad-Aware aren't finding anything. I'm on the verge of going insane.
I've ran win doctor, and it says it has fixed all the errors. I almost know it is a spyware problem because everytime I google something it opens up some other sidebar search engine too. As for the site that caused this, I have no clue. I don't visit lewd sites thanks to my outgoing girlfriend...
I ran Registry Healer, it found 245 errors but could only fix 15. I'm guessing this is my problem? Are there any free programs for this? You would think Norton Systemworks would have something for it.
I've tried everything else you all suggested, but none worked.
So last night I had some kind of "spyware attack". Spyware ads just started popping up and some kind of toolbar installed out of no where. I ran Ad-Aware and it kept finding things even after it had already scanned and deleted once, then I would reboot and it would find more, and then it...
And when I try to open a disc with it, it says "This disc is not formatted. Would you like to format it now"
Anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this?
I'm using a D-Link DWL-650 card and a Netgear MR814v2 router. My card gets a signal and connects to the router but I can't get on the Internet. I'm guessing this is a small problem, but I can't figure it out.
So I took windows xp home off my Toshiba laptop and installed Win XP Pro, and now the blue lights on the keys don't light up anymore. Anyone have an idea to what might of caused this? There are no unknown hardware devices in my Device manager so I know my drivers are installed.
Whenever I use the scroll wheel on my mouse with my new laptop it seems to "lag" the scrolling is jerky rather than smooth like my old desktop. Is there any way to fix this?
It was an open box return and carries a full warranty, they left out the remote control but they told me to come in the store with everything and they will fix my problem, I hope it means I will get some credit back because I don't see me needing the remote.
