Hmmm, well it is XP 32bit... but I kind of had a feeling the slower speed wouldn't be noticeable (especially for what he uses it for).

Right now my brother has 2x512MB of pc4200 DDR2 in his Dell Dimension... I just bought him 2x1GB of pc5300. I know if I use all 3GB together they will run at the slower speed, is it better to go with only 2GB but faster speed?
