Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I sound like a newb but ive built many computers before, just used my retail xp pro from back in the day. BUT, what is really the difference between the OEM home premium on newegg and a retail version?
1) Gaming, web-browsing, encoding videos
2) <$1500
3) Harrisonburg, VA
4) CPU, RAM, MOBO, HD, CPU FAN, PSU, VIDEO CARD, CASE, DVD RW
5) not reusing parts.
6) Will be overclocking!
7) 19" Samsung
8) Will buy now
So I want to go with a Q6600 setup...
what mobo, ram, video card, case, etc. should I get..ive built many comps before just want to see everyones ideas
