Oh I see. I'm still in the process of looking for a 22" 2ms and also bang for the buck. I have a budget so i need to stay within it. I was wondering if you know any out there. Been searching for a while, but no luck but the asus.
Hello fellow members! I was wondering what you guys think of this monitor right here. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236050
I got he 21.5 Full 1080p hdmi one, but I feel like its smaller so I'm going for this one instead. Need some opinion :/
i'm using the regular cable for these speakers, do you recommend me using optical or what not. i'm looking behind the Logitech and it has optical and COAX. Should i switch? :X i'm a music guy so i like loud and strong bumps. i want the most out of these speakers. i went from a audigy 2 zs to a...
What you guys think about this card hooking up with the logitech z-5500's? Any of you guys out there have this setup? Was wondering if any of you are satisfied with it. bumps good etc?
Thanks!
Hello everyone. I was wondering if any of you guys know if i could sli the 9800 with my 8800gt superclocked. i checked the specs and their about the same. I've waited a while for another 8800gt sc, but they discontinued it so i didn't get another . Was wondering if i paired up these two if it...
Hello fellow members.
So, I'm having this squeaky noise coming from my Aerocool PSU and boy it's getting annoying. I've had it for about 3-4 years and was wondering if i should replace it or just keep it. I'm afraid it might give out one day and just screw my entire computer. :mad...
Wait, what do you mean fried e8400s? You mean people overclocking their CPUS yes on this board? I'm not the type that likes to overclock so yeah. Checkhed the flash at boot up and yes it is e8400 3.0 6mb l2 cache. everything seems fine right now.
Which mobo for e8400 out of the box??? I first went with the Asus p5n-sli one, but had trouble with it because you have to update bios and read about the chipset heat sink getting hot and stuff. So I suggest you e8400 people to get this board
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35
TRUST...
that's a good idea. thanks. I've made a final decision and going with the this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128050
It supports 45nm right out of the box. So need to do anything, just take the e8400 plug and chug. Since i'm running only 1 8800gt SC might as well...
unfortunately guys, i changed my mind. I'm going with the GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R since it supports the 45nm and since I'm gonna be running one 8800gt might as well stick with this and upgrade to SLI board later on the future. But for now, just use one since i don't hardcore game that much :( I...
They didn't list the e8400 45nm, but i found something relevant to it. Could you let me know if this is right? http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5N-E%20SLI
It says on the above website, but on the CPU SUPPORT it didn't list the e8400
Thanks
I'm having second thoughts about this board. I haven't tried yet because I don't have the video card yet. I'm gonna be picking up the 8800gt SC tomorrow. But now I'm having some thoughts about the board I got. Going to give the bios flash a try and i'll post back again later on.
Hello everyone!
I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some tips before I start installing windows. I know that I have flash the bios because i have the latest e8400 45nm CPU running on the p5n-e board. And was wondering if any of you guys have used this board before and know...
This is what displayed on my brother's computer. He has the 8800gt SC
total avilable graphics memory 1663mb
dedicated video memory 512mb
system video memory 0mb
sharing is 1151mb
So yeah? Get the SC?
Thanks for the advice. So yeah, I went into the display settings and went into advance and i saw 1gb of memory.. not sure if that's right, but yeah. I'd probably have to get a screen shot to show you guys :(
Thanks for the input. This helps very much, but I have one question. My brother got the SC version and when I checked his memory on the card it showed 1024mb or something like that so that's about 1gb ? I ran the command "dxdiag" and that's what showed up. So I guess i should go with the regular...
Hey! thanks for reply. Well, the thing here is that I don't like to OC and don't want to void the warranty on top of that I don't know how to overclock :( So I guess I'll go with the regular one.
Alright guys, these two cards are both on sale @ microcenter. Regular 8800gt is $219.99 + tax and comes out to be about ~ $237 While on the other hand, the SC is going for $239.99 + tax is about 260. The 8800gt is in stock, but not the SC and I'm stuck between these two. Should i just go for the...
Well, I haven't started yet and was waiting for someone to maybe give me some advice. You have this board correct? But are you running the e8400 with this board? I know you have to flash the bios before installing windows if I'm correct. I'm still reading up on this "EZ FLASH BIOS" thing so I...
Hey Guys, I just recently got the e8400 as well and i got the ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i. I was wondering if i will run into trouble? I know that i have to flash the bios to run e8400 because it's a 1333fsb rather than a 1066. I was wondering if any of you guys could give me any...
Hey SexTrex! Thanks for pointing that out man this really helps! I will consider getting a new PSU later on in the future. Do you know what will happen if my PSU does short, like is it going to ruin my whole system? I'm on a budget kinda... so I don't feel like replacing my current one...
OMG, YOU ANSWERED MY QUESTION!!!
"If you are upgrading and carry forward older equipment like that until it dies (like me), the 650i boards will help you out--not so the 680i's, the P965's, the X38's, etc etc."
THANK YOU! !!!!!!!
Hello everyone!
I'm new at this so bare with me :) So, I'm building a new system and I'm having trouble deciding on which motherboard I should get. I've decided on the ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard, but I'm not quite sure how good it is. My purpose...
