as far as i can tell, if u are utterly impatient, u can go for the xeon and be fine. im willing to wait a few more days, god willing, for the q9450. that way I am positive nothing related to compatibility, bios, or unseen issues down the line will hit me. also, i figure a more mainstream...

Thats getting closer to what Id buy, but the shipping is nearly 60$, which makes it only a few dollars less then a new one. If you have a warranty on it, post that about it, as well as if it is among the newer versions of the monitor.
