I'm looking to build a new HTPC to stream DVDs from my home server, play Blu-ray, and record shows
AMD 7750 Kuma
ASUS M3N78 Geforce 8300 HDMI
G Skill 4GB DDR2 880
Seagate 500GB hard drive
LG Blu-ray burner
Hauppauge WinTV 2250 Dual Tuner
Silverstone Sugo SFF Case
I'm building a HTPC and I need recommendations for a tuner card to work with Dish Network. I don't need HD at the moment but I probably will by the end of the year.
Thanks
I'm planning to build a server to house my pictures, music, backups and stream media to my other systems. I've got a Dell PERC 5/i and 3 750GB Seagate drives that will be setup in a Raid 5. I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck. What processor and motherboard would you reccommend for this...
I'm thinking about water cooling my new system and I'm wondering if I should go with a packaged kit, like the Swiftech H20-220, or build my own. How well does the H20-220 perform? Would I be better off with a separate water block and pump?
Thanks in advance!
The higher one only goes down to 40. The other one will go down much lower. I get a movement of 7 or so when I peform the sensor test in real temp. Did I get a bad chip?
I purchased the NZXT Tempest based on a friends suggestion. It is longer and taller than the Antec 900 and the 3.5" internal bays are oriented better.

When I ran the test under Real Temp it reported that one of the cores might possibly be stuck. However, after monitoring Real Temp for a period of time I noticed that both core temperatures fluctuate but one remains 7-10°C higher. This is my first dual core processor so I just wanted to find out...
I've got my e8400 running at 3.6 on an Abit IP35 Pro. I am using Real Temp to display the temperatures and one core is reading 49c and the other is at 39c. I ran the Real Temp test and it reported that one of the sensors is stuck. Which reading should I believe?
I shouldn't say it doesn't fit... Everything will fit but I am left with one major rats nest and things are very tight. I think a modular psu wouldve helped but the cable management in the 900 sucks.
Ok, I bought all the components to build my new system but I can't fit everything in the Antec 900.. I like the side window so I can see everything but it isn't a deal breaker. Any ideas?

I'm in the planning stages of my new system and I'm stuck on the video card. I can't decide between the 8800 GTS and the 9800 GTX. I'll be running a single 22" Samsung monitor.
What do you guys think?
I'm interested in ocing, but nothing extreme. I agree on the e8400 because the .5 multiplier increase really isn't worth a $100.
I would like the ability to go SLI even if I don't do it from the start.
I like the case you suggested
Do you think the Raptor is worth the money?
I'm...
Well, I'm ready to build a new system and I have allotted a budget of $2300-2500, including a monitor(s). This system will be used for gaming and photo editing. I'm currently looking at the following with more room to add
e8400 or e8500
ASUS Striker II Formula LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI...
My motherboard crapped out on me so I'm looking for a replacemnet to get me by until I build a new system. My old board was an ASUS K8V SE deluxe. The ASUS K8V SE has always been a little buggy, even with the latest BIOS, so I want to change boards. What would be a good replacement? I have been...
