Have Tomb Raider for Steam key that came bundled with my 7870.
Asking $30. Will email code once payment is received.
(PS: I will be selling the Bioshock Infinite code when AMD send the code.)
I used to buy Seagate exclusively years ago until all of their drives became noisy. What led me to buying Seagates though was the high failures I experienced with Western digital.
Now I'm back to buying Western Digis because they are very solid, have/had great warranties and are pretty damn...
Let me help here, SSD for your config currently = 160/200mb read and limited space, raid0 F3's x4 = 300mb+ read with significant space for a gaming library.

I stopped caring about timings back in the P4/T-Bred days. For my everyday applications the margins will not show up. They do however show up in benches. I just stay in the middle of the road like:
DDR2 - 5-5-5-15 and DDR3 - 8-8-8-24, flip a coin for command rate.
I know most wide- open MMO's will lag slightly with slow harddisks. One way to avoid the stutters and lag in a games loading is to exceed 4 gigs of ram. A good well coded game today could easily take up 2 gigs a memory.
I still have a combo mobo/ram/cpu that someone pulled out of on me a few months ago just collecting dust.
ASUS M4A785-M
AMD 5000+ Unlocks to Quad Core with said motherboard
4GB(2x2) DDR2 Corsair
All just sitting around, can upload pics if needed.

I'm using Frontier(formerly Verizon) Dry-Loop 7MB/768 DSL an it suits my needs just fine. Youtube was unbearable with the 3MB package, but since I've upgraded, 1080p streams just cruise. I prefer DSL over cable for a few reasons, but I've realized that in this day in age, anything less than 5MB...
Ubuntu still boot fast until you get all of the updates that pretty much break all of my VM's:(.
A native install, any linux distro I've ever used basically boots really quick.
What we have for sale here is a lightly used and in perfect working condition cpu/ram/mobo combo. Asking $155.00 Shipped.

Same here,
Space isn't and won't be an issue the way things are shaping up for the future so archiving in the best quality is what I do for music and movies. Just like you I too have stopped ripping DVD's and really have fell in-love with the experience of 1080p Content so that is all I store...
Enough of the "you should part it out lol who buys complete systems??" crap, he stated he had no intentions of parting it out. The systems look real nice and I'm sure someone will take him up on his offer even if they don't need/want the whole system, the unneeded parts can be saved sold...
I use Foobar through two desktop monitors for critical listening and JRiver through JVC RX700's for when I want to zone out.
Winamp sure brings back some memories for me, like back in the AOL Napster days.:)
A few MBs here and there as results from synthetic benchmarks really don't translate into real world end user experience.
My medium for a while has been (synthetic results)=>30%(current hardware).
What that means is I won't particularly upgrade a piece of hardware unless the results from...
I have a Sempron 140 that won't boot if unlocked no matter what I do, but, it overclocks like a motherfucker. Nice chip for simple tasks but single cores get eating alive by some of today's high end media formats ala, 1080p playback via flash and file compression my chip gets bogged down.
About to build a new server that will mainly be used for backup for a few pcs. Will serve as a fileserver and media streamer for the LAN and some sort of web server to access files from my mobile when away from home(may use WHS for this function). This machine will be a Linux host for virtual...
bump this post because this weekend I will start moving all of my old cdrs to either harddrives or TDK DVD.
Was hoping DVD would be good enough for irreplaceable data.:(
