Go with the less expensive card and 2 GB of ram...you don't want your hard drive thrashing around while playing pc games.

You don't need more ram at the resolutions your playing games at..you need speed. If you monitor's native resolution is above 1950x1200 then you may need the 640MB model.

At your resolutions the GTS 320 is plenty powerful for your needs. Just be sure to pick a company that has a lifetime warrenty and decent RMA rules like BFG and ASUS...

Nice card depending on your monitors native resolution.

If you are going to stay with that monitor and resolution, a 8800GTS 320 MB overclocked card will suit you just fine and save you some $.

BFG has a new model out with a 2000 MHz mem speed (effective) on the 320 MB gts card. I'm buy/trading through the computer shop that built this for me so I can not buy elsewhere. I'm not putting any extra cash out, just trading.

I have a Samsung 20.1 inch LCD and run everything @ native res of 1600x1200 so the cpu won't be much of a bottle neck problem.
