it is very nice of you to reply to your own thread when you found the solution. To help ppl in the future.
most ppl just keep to themselves and stuck it up their azz.
;)
interesting, I'll look that gutter up. I mean ... ahh you know what i mean.
However, recently I've been informally introduced to the HP LCD monitors, and "according" to the hp "expert" (take it with a fistful of salt), it's the BEST LCD panel among ALL PANELS.
has anyone tried it? A HP...
ok, i'm pulling my head of of the samsung gutter for a while.
and I question thee.
Is there no 22 inch LCD that's better than the samsung 226bw and doesnt make you buy panel lottery?
anyone? Coz rather than getting deeper into this gutter, I'm looking for alternatives. Becoz it's...
I'm gonna cut it off, slowly .... with a dull knife.
what u gonna do about it, huh?
j/k, i cant help it, sorry. :D
btw, how much amps does a floppy power connector produce?
I just laughed so hard I fell off the stair and hit my head and now it's bleeding.
YOU OWE ME A COUPLE OF STICHES!!!!
grrrrrrrrrr.
jk.
It's a power connector for future proof purposes, to power the tacheon flux capacitor that future time distortion vortex motherboard uses...
I've been tormented by my bright, small, heavy and hot like a sun CRT for years, I've never own an LCD before.
I was about to buy a 22inch budget LCD the other day, to end my sufferage once and for all. Prepare to join the future!!
But after personally messing around with a few "well...
in 2008, one name will strike fear and terror into the hearts of AMD and intel. One name will shroud their skies with black and green. One name will end the reign of the two siblings.

For 10 years Nvidia had been secretly developing a completely new CPU architecture, one that...
nice, you have the same setup as mine.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try upping the NB volt and see what happens.
2.2ghz here I come!!!
btw, what's the NB's max temp? Dont want to fry it.
the stock voltage is 1.65v.
would it be uber disastrous if I up it to 1.9v? I mean as long as the temp is good, no harm right?
becoz I have a feeling that my lemon barton XP will only do 2.2ghz (11x200) on 1.9v. I've tried [email protected] ......... Sumout Error after 10 mins of prime95...
finally got it to run 2.03ghz.
but with a huge load of voltage and a stubborn multiplier.
[email protected]. That's from a stock voltage of 1.65v.
1.81volt !!! arghhhh. Damn lemon. I've tried every multiplier setting, it'll only run stable with 11, anything above or below 11 is absolutely no...
I'm stump. :(
it's a locked athlon xp barton 2500+.
I upped the voltage till an uncomfortable 1.75v and it maxed out at 1.9ghz. Help?
multiplier locked, so what else can I tweak?
I just want a nice round number, 2.0ghz. ;)
You dont! lol,
PSU with multiple transformers for each rails isnt available for home consumer market, as far as I know.
Some high end server system have this kind of PSU, but it's not designed for a PC.
Most (if not all) psu on the market uses virtual multirails. You will not be able...
which is why noobies and ppl who dont read manuals/research on PSU should choose Corsair 620watts. Nub proof PSU. :p
I do believe corsair is the only brand of PSU that does this. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Some (actually lots of them) PSU have "virtual multi-rails" or whatever you call it. Meaning they have more than one 12v rails. (usually labeled as 12v1, 12v2, 12v3 and so on)
These PSU have multiple 12v rails that connect back to a single transformer, so they are not really "independent"...
oh, I did not know that. Since I only lookup the slizone website. It said corsair 620 can only run 7900gtx SLi. So does that mean Nvidia Slizone didnt test them thoroughly?
Does this mean my Enermax infiniti 650watts can handle two 8800gtx too? Since slizone said it can run two 8800GTS. GTS...
so you did the green to black wire trick to power up the PSU?
if you did that and the PSU doesnt run well, or run at all, it's a shotty PSU.
hmmm, two wires, are you saying you dont have grounding in brazil? THat's interesting ... and very dangerous.
The Corsair 620watts would be a good choice. If you dont go SLI .
as for powertek, lets just say I know a guy who owns a PC shop and he decided to stop stocking powertek PSU after the first batch of his stock received a "considerable" amount of complaints from the customers. And before that...
Blowing up is not a problem if you have the time and patient for a replacement unit.
the real problem is, when it decided to take your system components to dine in hell.
C2D 2 gig ram 8800gtx SLI system ... Tonight!! We dine in PC HELL!!!
and then your C2D 2 gig ram and 8800gtx SLI goes...

problem with thermaltake PSU is: (now this is my personal opinion/experience, no facts to back it up)
They make good PSU, but quality control is slacking, so it can be a great product, but with a high percentage of failure rate due to quality problem.
I've read somewhere that hardware...
sounds like a short from your motherboard to the casing.
try to take out the motherboard and put it on a piece of cloth/plastic, connect everything outside of the casing (just lay them on the table) and power it on.
if it works, it's a short. You'll need plastic standoffs or find the...
no offense, but powertek is pretty cheapo PSU, questionable quality control as well.
When you turn on the computer, did the power supply fan spin?
PSU that shuts off seconds after turning it on is usually a sign of low amps on the rails. (Too many peripherals connected, topping it's amperage...
You have to give us more details on your system spec before we can even begin to give any suggestions.
motherboard maker, 20 pins, 24 pins? What peripherals do you have? Water cooler? Etc.
Power supply brand, models, wattage?
How exactly did your wife "screw it up"?
dont get me wrong, the liberty 620watts is a great PSU.
but it absolutely HATE cheap UPS/AVR.
simulated/modified sinewave UPS + liberty 620watts = magical smoke and flashes.
