I am looking at purchasing the components to build a new gaming computer. I last built one in December 2012 and it has worked relatively well but is beginning to show its age in more modern games, barely running at 60fps on low settings. I need some advice on a few specific items as I have not...
Dishonored is awesome. I was super underwhelmed with Metro 2033 and Last Light. Beat them last year, but man, I thought they would be better...
But I guess if we are including any game, that I will probably buy on PC i am looking forward to: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Dishonored 2, Dead Island...
I loved the first, didn't really like 2/3. I think the problem is mainly I liked the RPG aspect of the first. The 2nd two went more FPS.
Although they are fun games, idk. We will see what this game is actually about. Chances are I will buy, but maybe not on launch and wait for a massive discount.
These don't work in the US. They are insanely popular in asia like China and Korea. But in the US, i don think you will make enough money to keep the lights on. Even buy mediocre computers you'll shell out a lot, just to have a few people around. Yes you will have a few really good nights with...
You make a valid point. The only difference is that we weren't crammed with a yearly edition of the same game with very minor adjustments and changes to the story. At least there were many variances and different takes on what is a massive amount of content.
GoldenEye brought us the true FPS desire on consoles, then probably Halo furthered on this. Those are in a lot of ways the basis for current FPS multiplayers.
Had the same issue after the patch last Wednesday. I redownloaded the game from SOE and was crashing from both SOE and Steam version. Supposedly it's a file in the respawn where you can delete it for a quick fix but you have to do it every time and it will come back after 15-30 minutes. I just...
As for the base weapons from the NC perspective, the infiltrator has an amazingly effective sniper rifle from the start and with adding just a 30cert scope can be very lethal. On the Heavy side the NC6 gauss saw is also way overpowered as a mid to long range weapon when certed out. It's...
A few years ago I read an article about exclusive games versus multiplatform games. They stated that the cost was around $9m for just a single platform vs $17m to ship it to the 360, ps3, and wii. This was a while back though and I think game production costs have risen significantly since.
Cyberpower I believe offers tons of aftermarket cooling options. Probably a good idea if he were to put on at minimum a 212 or a closed loop water system like the corsair h60 or the antec one. I have the h60 on my cpu at the moment, and am pleased. Temps rarely get over 45 and are mostly in the...
Most of the reviews I've read seem pretty positive. More of the same as the fixed DI GOTY edition, but fairly good and not the buggy mess the game was at launch. I want it, but don't really feel like paying $40. Will probably pick it up during the Steam summer sale at like 50% off or something...
Has anybody had any kind of bug with the unlock trial button and guns becoming permanent? I was trying out the EM6 2 nights ago and when I logged on all yesterday and today the thing was showing that I purchased it, but I have the same amount of SC and certs as before I did the trial. Wondering...
I've had 2 friends buy from ibuypower in the last 12-18 months and they are both pleased. They might not meet the standards of most people on this forum or other enthusiasts, but the people that buy them tend to go back and have good luck from them. I know one of my friends has bought from them...
I have a blast taking Amerish or Esamir during off hours by myself. Once you get up to an Amp Station or Bio Facility there are always a few people around. It's kind of fun farming the exp off generators and seeing how long you can survive before the few enemies actually catch you. It's so much...
Gotten back into the game this week and it's better than when I stopped playing. Plan on grabbing some extra SC with the 50% off promotion and buy a few things. Forgot how damn long it takes to actually earn a gun.
You can easily get by with an OCd 3770k. In no way are you going to get anymore when gaming from that vs an 3570k or 3770k. Save some money, because you need a few additional things. PSU should either be seasonic or corsair.
HDD1 is fine, but really only running an ssd? That's not going to be...
I know. I really want the game just don't feel like purchasing it for ps3/360 atm. I don't like purchasing games for systems at the end of their lifespan.
