I am looking at purchasing the components to build a new gaming computer. I last built one in December 2012 and it has worked relatively well but is beginning to show its age in more modern games, barely running at 60fps on low settings. I need some advice on a few specific items as I have not followed some components closely since my previous build.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

Gaming, a mix between AAA new titles and PUBG

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

I would like to spend $1,000-$1,500 in parts other than what I have already purchased. See below.

3) Where do you live?

Kansas, USA.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.

I have the following items purchased:

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2080 Windforce
Case: Corsair 750D Airflow
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i
Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR 27" 1440P 165hz

Need:

CPU - Leaning towards 9700k
RAM
Motherboard
PSU
SSD (500gb-1tb)
HDD (probably 4-8tb)
And any other parts that I cannot think of currently.
Fans - I would like extra fans that are quiet
Operating System

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

None minus keyboard/mouse/headset and the new parts already purchased that are listed above.

6) Will you be overclocking?

Yes. I will overclock the CPU and GPU, but only moderately. Previous build was a 3570k at 4.3ghz which has lasted six years. Would prefer OC to be stable.

7) What size monitor do you have or plan to have?

27" 1440p

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

By end of January.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc

USB 3.0 slots

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?

I will need to purchase a new license.
