Also add VR to this. AMD has worse frame timing so VR will feel worse with an AMD GPU than Nvidia at identical FPS. But otherwise the 7900XTX easily. It matches/exceeds the 4080 in raster performance and is $200 cheaper.

I would love to see some 8K results, since 4K is where the 4090 really shines against the 3090/Ti. If the performance gap continues to increase with resolution as it does up to 4K, maybe we have the first truly 8K capable card (assuming it's like 70-80% faster in 8K res).

The jump in performance of these over the 3090/3090Ti is more impressive than I expected. 50-65% at 4K is a pretty big leap. It makes the 3090Ti FE listed at $1100 a bad deal. Fortunately, I don't really game anymore but for all those that do - enjoy your 4090s!
