As someone who gets to play with all the latest builds of Win 8, I will only say if a program runs on Win7, it will almost certainly work on Win8... It will have it's own drivers, although most Win7 drivers seem to work as well (kinda like Vista vs. Win 7 drivers). Not as many of the Win 7...
Bearded Dragons are easily the best reptile pets... They actually have some good personality and tameness to them... This poor guy was just trying to get a meal! LOL
As someone who tested mobile SB for Intel as a contractor, I have known for a year now how good this stuff really is... ;-) I was particularly impressed by the leap and bounds performance improvement of the graphics... As far as ULV, graphics performance starts sliding pretty badly, but at only...
As a contract employee I am testing the mobile one's listed at the bottom of the list... I can't talk details, obviously, but I will say they certainly perform well for mobile chips and the integrated graphics is where people will be pleasantly surprised the most... Sorry to not be able to...
Why quote prices when they are OBVIOUSLY heavily subsidized contract prices? Sorry, but c'mon, us tech savvy on here should know better... Anyway, it sounds like Apple is absorbing the hit. Those poor people over there deserve to make a decent living like anyone in this world. That means as long...
I have read some good replies on here but no one has mentioned one thing yet... If you buy a wireless router and leave it unsecured, then you are essentially broadcasting over the airwaves a tool to commit illegal acts... sure it is up to an individual to use it responsibly but often it is...
Yes, amazing how clueless people really are driving, failing to grasp the basic concept of just going the steady speed to make it thru the timed lights of the downtown city blocks or tailgate so much... Sorry the signals in your area don't have a delay when switching, they really should. Seems...
Very good point... I just think a full 2-second delay covers all bases pretty well, but there is ALWAYS the douche bag who just has to go through the red light because why should he have to stop when people RIGHT in front of him went though. That could easily exceed 2 seconds and especially if...
I agree 100% with the rushing to the stop light thing instead of coasting, people are in way too much of a hurry. i had some a-hole in a Bimmer flashing his high beams at me from behind just because I was coasting to a redlight a 1/4 mile ahead
Disagree 100% with getting T-boned... if you...
Meh.. I think they will drag race now how it is if they want... This will lead more people to pay some dang attention and keep people behind them from missing the light. In busy traffic times it will keep traffic from getting as backed up when more people make it through the light when everyone...
Not when there is a 2-second delay in which all directions are red... They don't go from red one direction to green the other way at the exact same time at almost all intersections as it is now. Adding this countdown timers would OBVIOUSLY include using said 2-second delay.
Sorry for multiple...
It's a great idea... as long as there is the 2 second, ALL directions are red, delay... that takes care of your accident issues for all you people claiming it will cause more accidents...
Well, it certainly USED to be that way, but the very latest generation of Intel graphics (Intel HD graphics) is FINALLY very close in performance to nVidia and AMD integrated solutions... Still, it's too bad this fight is going on but like others have said nVidia is much better at discrete...
I am a contractor for the biggest chip maker in the world and many, many XP machines are still around and were affected, including mine. If this humongous chip maker still trusts McAfee, then I don't know what to say... I would think McAfee is going to be losing huge contracts when they expire...
AMD REALLY needs to keep the price point down when it launches... It seems to have good performance but need to keep well under $400 to be respectable... hopefully closer to $300.
So you have 2 - 1GB modules or one 2GB and one 1GB? If they are not the same size I don't believe it will run in dual channel. My friend just picked up a 5516 and it came with 2GB and a 1GB... silly, would rather have 2GB, one slot open and a faster processor instead!
Uh, hello.. people who don't secure their network OBVIOUSLY intend to share their connection to anyone who needs it.... right? :D
But yeah, old news... saw the same SSID at a neighbors apartment where there are like 10 networks available, including an unsecured network at full connection...
I guess I really hate to see the 5770 not much faster than a 4850, if at all... I love the ATI cards but hate the fact that a newer generation card has has the 128-bit bus even WITH GDDR5. Sorry, I was never trying to claim fact either, I specifically said I was curious on the 57XX series...
Why oh why would you upgrade to a card that has half the memory bus from the previous generation? DX11? I doubt 5750 will play DX11 games very well. Hard did not even include the 5770 and 5750 in their DIRT2 review, now I am really curious....
The 4860 is not in the graph you link to... It's...
Uh, they don't make 4850 and 4870's anymore... This is simply a way to sell more 4890 cores while having a low-mid option for now. It's performance at stock clocks is almost exactly between a 4850 and 4870 and using the refined 4890 core with 2-6pin power connections this thing should OC like a...
You do know the 4850 is clocked at 625 and the 4860 is clocked at 700, right? You do know that for $66 (118.99/ea for 2+) less than the very cheapest 4890 it would be interesting what a $238 x-fire setup would do with this. Show me the benchies!
Also, it is the same core as 4890 minus the...
Wait, you guys know it has the full 256bit, 1GB GDDR5 for only $119 when you buy two, right? Sorry, sounds like a tempting mid-range x-fire setup to me!
I think the mass population IS pretty dumb for the most part... Hell, 30 years ago most athletic shoes were called "Nike's", LOL.
I think it's laziness and the epitome of lazy human nature. It actually ANNOYS me when people say "Kleenex" for facial tissue (see, my spell check even says it's...
I am really impressed at the output quality at this price range on a group regulated unit. Jon has really worked wonders at BFG and his talent level is really starting to show. I know I asked him awhile back why go with group regulation and to paraphrase him he said that he was totally satisfied...
It's pretty simple though... AMD is making SOME progress. Even the most DIE-HARD Intel Fan Boi wants AMD to succeed to SOME degree... so their precious Intel chips stay fast and cheap! :) Personally I would like to have a higher box based on each companies chip to play with. Competition is good...
Spot on, SirKronan... People just need to shop around if they don't like the service they are getting instead of being an idiot who lumps everyone all together into the same category. He made himself look pretty stupid!
Seriously... look at those gaming benchmarks BEFORE any overclocking is done! This could be a great AMD upgrade CPU... and while not in stock, looks like they will be going for $115. Hmmmm... 3.3GHz in a much better core? Sounds like a winner to me!
If they simply rated this for 600w and had a more appropriate price tag, then this could be an "acceptable" PSU... but rated at 700w and $125 you'd be a fool not to go with a Corsair or Antec. I paid $115 for my Antec Neo 650 and while not the best PSU in the world it is a much better value than...
Actually their prices are way down... I would say it's because every chip they have out is flawed and people are starting to catch on. Now, this is based on these recent news stories that show it's not just the mobile GPU's but desktop ones are "defective" too... OUCH.
I just hope these...
I was wondering when that would be brought up. They simply need to make it easy to adjust the fan speed on ALL models coming out. The fan is only set for like 14% and it doesn't start becoming noticeably loud until you get past 50% so there is no reason for it to be SET so low. I originally...
Hmmm... I just want AMD to come back with something decent before Intel starts charging $300 for low-mid procs... I REALLY hope they do! PLEASE stay competitive and don't go under AMD!
Begging aside I think they can pull it off. Stay competitive in the $200 range procs and keep them from...
