There are NVIDIA GTX 570's on amazon that are going for around $200, also the 570 can be found in the for sale section of this forum. That would give you more then double performance. the 570 would use a little less wattage and much less heat will be produced.
Found out its only got one hard drive bay. Upgraded the ram from one 4gb stick and a 2gb stick to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231342 G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-8GBSQ
Works great...
The transformer is better, it has the ability to attach a keyboard that also doubles your battery life.. 16+ hours! My wife got the acer first then changed it out with the transformer.. she is very happy now!
just bought this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004YW6HP2 for $750
Trying to figure out if its got another hard drive bay in it. I have not had the chance to open it up yet. It replaces an ASUS G50VT laptop.
for what its worth I have a seasonic 650w power supply running GTX 570 SLI, works great in all games
I do GPU folding on both, and SMP folding on the CPU 24x7, its never crashed or gotten the blue screen of death.
Finally got the money together to get those two GTX570's and thay seem to run fine with my current 650watt power supply.. been gaming and running f@H with no problems :p
Trying to plan out an upgrade from my current system in my sig gtx260 sli to 570 sli. Will I need to get different power supply? I currently fold 24x7 on both video cards and all 4 cores of the cpu with out any issues. Been trying to figure out if the 570s would use the same power as the old...

These things keep getting cheaper.. looks like this cpu will perform about the same as a i5 750 :D
I wonder what the fastest cpu I can get now for my Asus P5N-e, I have upgraded to 8GB OCZ ram and am looking to get a couple of those GTX260's on sale ;)
This motherboard has been such a pain in the butt to find memory for in the past. Got this 4x2GB ram kit from newegg for $75 free shipping and FYI I was suprised to see it work with no problems. Its running at spd timings (6,6,6,18)and 800mhz. The previous ram could only be ran at 533mhz...
