About 3 hours in to the campaign (YMMV) I saw a compound be revealed on the map saying it is a tough task and may require co-op assistance. Which while ok, because it will remain persistant in my campaign, is not at all what I thought it would be where a buddy could jump in and out of any part...
It appears the egg is using that tactic on any 9XX in stock as well as I intended to use that on the MSI 980 I just grabbed. From $579 to $521 would have been nice indeed .

Recently did a similar run down of Upgrades but added a date and CPU, comes out like a jacked up Intel Tick Tock upgrade model. Threw in the first SSD upgrade due to its impact:
May '03 Socket A 3200 w/ ti4600
May '05 939 3200+ w/ 6800
May '06 939 FX60 w/ 6800
May '06 939 FX60 w/...
I believe those are a previous generation of Phillips AmBx Gaming lights, pretty neat stuff, it can project the dominant color of the screen, sometimes in partial colors and blends if your game /app supported. Some models included fan attachments to push air to coincide with explosions /noise.
+1, I like how they mentioned it then explained why some of us may OC it a bit more for those that might not be familiar.
Definitely cannot wait for the [H] methodology review of the Titan.

Great Thread.. my 2 cents:
So with the family two states away I decide to grab a Keg and a couple of Ex and current Military buds that I game with pretty regularly and have a DAY-Z LAN from Friday through to Sunday. Shift the living room and populate it with 3 Six foot folding tables 1 per...
Heh, 7 posts about the $94/4200 shipped Twin Frozr by the time I got my message together.. Now the true question... how many do they have in stock and how long will these last? People will buy these as well just a matter of time… Like a cast away on a boat surrounded by sea water…...
Hmmm generalization and opinion vs. generalization and opinion… such broad statements they are almost trolling. :)
@ hdgamer Feel free to read a few reviews of Metro 2033 ran on 2x 680 SLI to see if that 480-SLI rig can replicate the same settings the reviewers are trying. It is all...
Having recently jumped on the 680 bandwagon myself, this conversation sounds familiar. I already had Metro 2033 and reinstalled it and tinkered with it, But I just went out and bought Crysis 2 (with DX 11 tessellation and high definition and texture additions ) last night to flex the 680 a bit...
Yeah not sure the replacement card receives the benefit of the lifetime warrantee of the purchased card. If the second card does receive the benefit of a lifetime warrantee of the first card, not sure if it is then able to transferred to a second owner unless specifically labeled as having a...
Ordered Card @ Egg: 1552
Recieved ship notice w/ tracking #: 1716
Final Invoice with all charges: 1900
So far so smooth, I hope I am not headed into the same tracking SNAFU Ranguvar is having:
I like Corsair because from my (2 x 512MB) TWINX1024-3200C2PRO graduating up to my TWINX2048-3500LL then on to my HX1000 and my H-50, I have never had to engage the Corsair customer service team for anything other than a initial purchase!
For anyone else debating the value of this cooler or wanted some quick comparison numbers, I dropped in my stock Intel cooler and set all settings back to factory for some before and after comparisons where the only change was the cooler, thermal compound and the rear 200mm that I oriented...
I would say look at the two items just a little closer, what would cause that disparity in pricing that would seem like such craziness?
Take a look at the interface, the speed differences and prices of similarly configured storage solutions. The deal may not be for you (sure is NOT for me)...
Doh! Of course a drive would need a sled attached to make it fit the bay properly; I skipped over that little fact while theorizing uses. I guess for the quickest swapping a external drive dock may still be the best solution .This would still work for my archive purposes as long as I left the...
True, but I am spoiled working with servers where you yank and drop a drive at will. Hot swapping is pretty convenient for troubleshooting friends/ relatives PC's (something I am pretty sure most of us have to trudge through on a regular basis) or running back ups of images or data to be...
I suppose it is only fair to also reference New Eggs Hot deal for $179 w/free shipping posted in this same thread:
http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1582762
That pretty much matches the MC deal. (sans tax, depending on your regional considerations of tax from the Egg or from a local...
...or just buy 10 then return 10 and keep going untill you are rich!
I understand alot of places have issues with missing UPC's on returned merchendise or else the above would be valid.
Ordovician,
Are they truely hot swappable, and you have tried it on multiple drives types/brands? (Considering it is a given not to yank a drive while being accessed) I heard someone who had issues say they contacted Coolermaster who told him to put Windows 7 in sleep mode before swapping...
Microcenter has the Cooler Master HAF X for 159.99 + Tax - No Rebate and NOT just Brick and Mortar  (like their famous $200 I-7 920 & then 930 Deal.)
I offer this as my first hot deal because I have never seen it below 179.99 + shipping and owe the [H] and members for all the hot deals...
That is a valid purist approach but in a pinch someone could install it (game of the moment) on thier C: and as they put in on the back self, cut the game folder that the link points to containing the bulk of the data and move it to storage drive there by gaining its footprint 5-10Gb now-a-days...
Yeah, I have seen a lot of nervous posts regarding RMA warehouse being the return address. I am less concerned about that as I have seen it enough to know new stuff can be shipped from there. Anyone have thoughts about the “hours powered on” or the numbers of "powered on" I...
