Amazon has the HP 27xi for $269. I know it is only 1080p so no need to complain. Has any one seen this screen compared to the Planar px2710mw? I had that screen for a while and it's a good screen. I'm wondering if this one is at least that good or better. I don't use my monitors for professional...

It's a Shell Shocker so it's not for long. It's normally $299 just for the HP N40L.
I tried to by the N40L from some where else and they canceled my order and I'm glad they did.
Here's the deal. I couldn't help myself when the Vertex Plus 120GB was just over $100. I got it a couple of weeks ago, but just had some time tonight to install/format it tonight. It's just set up as E: drive for now.
Here's my question. What can I do to stress this drive so I can see if I'm...
I'm hoping I can get some help/suggestions from fellow forum members.
My,soon to be 16 year old, daughter is going to be buying a laptop very soon. Maybe even tomorrow. She will be shopping in Green Bay, WI so only options are Best Buy and maybe Wally world. I'm figuring in the $600 to $700...
Here's CPU Worlds listing of planned processors and samples for the Opteron and FX series. It was just updated on Sept 1, but I don't know what they had listed before that. Doesn't show any performance figures but they have clock speeds and prices.
Possible screens of the dozer and listing of info on stock clocks and turbo clocks.
You think this is real? Even if it isn't, something has to come out soon.

Just like the title says, Why has no manufacturer tried to put out a 2gb 6870? They have great scaling in CF. Or even a 6870x2 4gb? Would it just be to expensive and may as well just buy 6950? I still think 6870 2gb for $199 would be good.
I'm looking to update my drivers from 11.2 to 11.4preview. Problem is that I can't uninstall 11.2 drivers. They don't show in Control Panel -> Program and Features. The only ATI or AMD listed is the ATI Install Manager. When I open CCC it lists 11.2 driver but no op0tion to uninstall. Any help...
TPU has a review of Powercolor's new HD6870 PCS++, here. It has dual CF dongles so trifire is now available. Who's going to be the first to try that out? I would think this card in 3CF would really benefit from 2GB of RAM though.
Noticed this at the Egg, Gigabyte 870 AM3+.
Can't wait to see what BD is going to offer. And what the differences are going to be between 8xx and 9xx series.
Not sure about Diamond, but.. $134.99 after MIR.

What's the chance of something like this coming out for Ontario E-350?
I got this monitor as a gift at x-mas. I am wondering if any one here has ever used/had one of them and what their experience was. I haven't picked up a graphics card yet so I haven't had a chance to see how it does gaming, but I've been pleased with it so far otherwise. I had been looking at...

I need to move up from my Dell 19" 1366x768 lcd. Any know about or have used ViewSonic VA2702w? I will be using it mostly for studying/research with some gaming when ever I get the time for it.

I've always had good luck with viewsonic and I don't...

I haven't used ADATA before, but if I didn't already have 2 X 4GB I would try these. Nice price!
I'm going to OC my 1055t, but I need to find a good HSF as I'm currently using stock. I am considering the hyper 212, but I think I would like something better. I'm just not sure what will fit and is in the $50 range. I see directron has the veromous x for $62. What you think? I don't want to...
I'm starting to look for a new monitor and was thinking I should look into one with display port for future eyefinity. 27" will be out of my $$$ range. Whats happening in the 22 - 25 inch range. I would prefer 1920 x 1200 but it looks like manufacturers are really moving away from that res.:mad...

I'm having a hard time deciding between the Lancool PC-K58W and CM HAF 912 with the Seasonic X-650 psu. They both cost about $165. I'm thinking the Lancool. What you think would be best?
I'm going to be building a box to run VMs using Hyper-V. I been leaning towards going AMD and not sure what advantages IOMMU offers. This will just be a personal box used to learn about virtualization. The reason I ask is I am looking at using an 880g board to save some money compard to 890FX...

Has any one gone to PcPro school or know any thing about it? I'm thinking about going there and getting certs for MS and Cisco.
I haven't heard much about motherboards frying with the x6 cpu lately. Has this been taken care of? I'm looking to get a 890GX board and am wondering which is the best to get. I will be OCing ofcourse... ;)
I'm wondering why none of the AMD/ATI partners, or AMD/ATI themselves, never made a dual 5770 card like the 5970? I think that would of been a sweet card!!!
Interesting news!

Two different versions of the 970. Looks like AMD wants to keep these thuban x4's to the OEM's. Wonder how difficult it will be to get one?
RCG Bex at extremesystems found this. I didn't even know it was going to be made.

Now I got to decide if I want 1055t 95w or 1075t BE 125w. I'm thinking i'll go 1075t. What do you think?
I been wanting to go with ATI, but every where I go I read about craptastic drivers. Having to use 10.4 for this or 10.5 for that and somtimes 10.6 or 10.7(a). This just seems crazy to me. When drivers progress they shouldn't break things from previous versions. Is it really that bad? Why can't...
