Need display advice ViewSonic VA2702w?

I need to move up from my Dell 19" 1366x768 lcd. Any know about or have used ViewSonic VA2702w? I will be using it mostly for studying/research with some gaming when ever I get the time for it.

Another cheaper possibility? VX2450WM-LED

I've always had good luck with viewsonic and I don't have the money for high end LCD.

A member of the forums had a EA231WMi for sale but I'm not big on used and for the price I could get 27". I'm torn.... so bad with decisions!!!

If these are way off I'm open to suggestions.

I liked Viewsonic CRT's, in my opinion their LCD's are crap. NEC and Samsung and then if money were no object maybe a Dell 27 or 30 inch.
 
The Asus is fine if you don't mind the top half of the screen being noticably darker than the bottom and yellowing at the sides. TN + large size = no. The only 26" I see with an IPS panel is a Viewsonic VP2655WB, and that's almost $1000 and has a 16ms response time. For about $200 less you can find refurbished Dell 2709Ws, but they have high input lag of 45-60ms.
 
So basically there are no monitors bigger than 24" 1920x1080(1200) for around $250? I definitely don't want a crap picture, but I know I can't afford the best right now either. I need to get this soon because my current 19" is killing my eyes and giving me headaches.
