Hold Out! I know its hard to, but just wait. I'm so ready to order my new Macbook come Tuesday that I ordered the aftermarket RAM today at Newegg. I'm ready to mkae the switch and finally see what all this scuttlebutt about OS X is.

Last I read Peryns would be ready to go right around when CES starts, Macworld is a week later, and rumors have pinned the updates from Macworld to ship about in mid-Febraury.

Also don't forget the "sub-notebook" with: Peryn 12-13.3 inch LED screen No Optical Flash HDD (most likely 32GB) Cost to be around 1500 USD Now realize this is all rumor as of right now, but we will see in another 2 and a half weeks.

The touch does not have any type of IR on it so I'm not sure if it would work for a remote, I haven't seen any mods being done to it either on the few forums I go to.

Any rumors on a refreshed basic Macbook being unveiled at Macworld? I know there are rumors of a 13 in MBP as well as a possible Macbook Touch, both of which I have no desire for, but I have heard of a possbile Macbook with a SSD and no Optical if this was a in just a standard MB and not a Pro...

I'm guessing from the shots I saw it lets you take a portion out of any song? That would be very cool in case there is a part of a song I really love, but no one offers a tone of that segment. Also Cingular charges 2.50 for their "Music Tones" so yea this is cheaper. Oh and btw its $1.98 so...
