Sorry if this is a stupid question but how can you tell if your video card supports hardware decoding of Bluray? I have a HTPC machine with a 7950GT and the processor is almost pegged the whole time. I'm guessing my video card doesn't do it.

I'm using an asus a8n32-sli deluxe (939) board with an X2 4400+ AMD proc, 2GB RAM and a Geforce 7950GT. Nothing is OC'd and it's running under Vista home premium. There is no stuttering at all with this config, it just tends to sap the processor while playing.

Got mine the other day. It works great. Playing back the discs is a processor whore. My poor X2 4400+ is almost maxed out while playing.

I asked for free shipping once and was granted my wish. Just be reasonable and don't ask for a hot SKU.

I picked up one of those from BB. I took it apart last night so I can mod it to be internal :p I also ordered one of these as well as a HTPC case from the Egg last night. It will be nice to have BluRay and HDDVD all in my living room.

What a great deal for a HTPC. Screw paying $400 for a standalone. It's too bad it doesn't read HD-DVD as well. I just may bite...

Got mine yesterday finally! The set is huge, I wish they packed it in slim cases instead of double wide.
