Saw Atic.ca having this monitor listed as $885.

Can request price match with Ncix.
Good deal if that price sticks.
Are you sure?
I connect mine via component set to 720P. When playing DVD movies, I check the status, it says 480P.
Anyways, I doubt it makes much of a difference. I play DVDs through my HTPC and i can't see much of a difference as it is supposedly upscaled.
OK nevermind.
After the...
Some games will be in 1080P. A Few initially. Maybe further down the console's life yes. It is really up the developers.
You're better off with the Benq
People are always looking for deals and regardless how cheap the price is, they will always want it to be cheaper.
Anyways, seeing as the Benq 24" is listed at the same price (in CDN) as the Dell one (NOT on sale), there's really not much of a price difference for something that has better...
I saw an ETA of Sept 15/06.

At this rate, the 30" model won't be available until xmas holidays or Q1 2007..eeks..
Whoever said patience is a virtue was not a gadget head. :o
With all the complaints about the new dell 24"...issues with supporting 1080P over DVI, banding..
why aren't people looking at alternatives like the upcoming Benq FP241W.
Some LCDs have trouble adjusting to the xbox's resolutions. I had a viewsonic lcd tv that didn't play well but the Xbox360 does have several other resolutions you can switch to and seeing as you are buying a LCD monitor and not TV, more likely you won't have a problem.
If you want something bigger than 42", you will have to pass up on LCD and go DLP.
I think the current sweet spot is 37-42" for LCD TV. Plus both models are 1080P. You won't find anything bigger than 42" at 1080P for $3,000 ...LCD wise.
Go for the Westinghouse 42" LCDTV 1080P and lots of connections, should be going for less than $2700.
Or the Sceptre 42" LCDTV 1080P, this one is even cheaper, $2,000 if you have a Costco membership.
That's not true.
Most of the latest cards from ATI/Nvidia are HDCP compliant. Just that you will have to upgrade the firmware with the HDCP key once HD sources that require HDCP is available.
Of course, ATI/Nvidia will probably charge you a nominall(?) fee for the license...
I've been doing research and looking at LCD TVs at BB and FS for days now and I'm wondering if anyone here has own these or have an opinion on the following:
Viewsonic N2750W
Toshiba 23HL85
LG RM-26LZ50
The above have their plus and minus...
I like the LG one but it doesn't have...
I got a great deal at BB on this monitor (staff discount) for $650 CDN but I still returned it.
Here's my reason why:
Dark areas you cannot see any details. I tried playing Prince of Persia: Two Thrones on my xbox via component..doesn't matter how you adjust, the contrast and brightness...
