Wankel, hahah sounds like a sound decision ;) Good luck with the 1.3v. I think you can easily hit 3.4 and more with your board and chip. So many people in the forums are doing way better than me :p

Yea, I don't have that board and I'm nowhere near hitting 1:1 mem ratio :(

Ok, I'm in an unusual position, where I actually took delivery of BOTH CPUs. I'm wondering which processor I should try and OC first. Which one would OC better? The Xeon or the regular Q9450? Any ideas?

3.4 is the sweet spot? I think i can live with that. I'm getting my HSF tomorrow, so I should be starting up my OC trials as well. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and I won't have too much of a headache getting 3.4 or better. I'd ideally like to hit 3.6. But we'll see...

Well heck, I think a lot of curious people want to know what all you all results will be like :) I'm STILL waiting for my Q9450 (no ETA at this time - for retail). Once I get my chip, I'll be referencing this thread frequently for my OC's :)
