If i were to order the pentosin, should I also buy the biocide? is this normally a big issue with WCing?

Should I ditch the fluidxp and get the pentosin/waterwetter combo ? I added like an ounce of tap water to the fluidxp, I didnt have enough and my reservoir was driving me crazy with the sloshing water sound. I guess i threw out the non-conductive aspect of it.

So, my first watercooling rig, and I put the FluidXP in it, I have drained this system a few times to correct minor leaks, now everything is working just fine. Then I noticed this on my drain tube. Is this algae or is this common build up from fluidxp? :o
