Like the AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (s939) / 2.0Ghz. It's dual core, but that doesn't make it add up to 4.0Ghz right? I'm complete noob to this, hahah. If anyone could answer that question and help me out with the basics, that'd be great.

Yeah, as the title says. It's the stock one that came with the AMD 3200+, should I just replace it? When not doing anything on the PC it still does it. Temp of the CPU averages around 36c, and only goes up to 45c when gaming.

I'm running fear maximum/medium settings, no aa and getting around 50-70 fps ... stock speeds for my cpu and gpu ... got the bfg 6600gt oc for now, waiting for 7900 ;)
