Right, so I'm pricing out a new system to replace my aging socket 939 build, and Newegg has a smoking combo deal on this power supply.
Normally I wouldn't go near an off brand PSU, but I see ABS has been rebranding some decent power supplies lately, and it is 80+ certified, if that counts for...
Well, I installed Ubuntu on a friend's computer just now, but I didn't realise Symantec GoBack was so terrible. To my dismay, I discovered that it does not work with any bootloader other than the WinXP one, and using GRUB caused it to bluescreen before windows could even begin booting. So, I...

2x80mm out
1x80mm on the window
1x80mm in the PSU
1x?mm for the GPU
1x120mm on the CPU

GM's Computer Assisted Engineering department uses RISC workstations, and you need normal PC cases to put under people's desks, because most cubicals don't have rackmounts. Corvette seemed like a cool badge to slap on, I guess.
If dad finds the pictures, I can show you guys the XLR badged...
Two scrap workstations from a large company. I should be able to put together a single working system with spare parts left over.
The reason I wouldn't want to sell it is because the company's had problem with people doing stupid stuff like declaring perfectly good things as scrap, taking...
I'm might get a HP J6700 workstation for free. It has dual 750mhz 64-bit processors, and probably around 6 gigs of RAM. It'll run Gentoo or Debian.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do with this rig?
Ok, I got my new system together, and the RAM LED and standby power LED both come on, but when I hit the power switch (or short the jumpers, or press the button on the motherboard) nothing happens.
Any ideas?
